Denzel Washington in a movie version of "The Equalizer"? Bet it kicks ass...

The movie has a $50M budget and $20M of it goes to Denzel? Doesn't sound too promising.

You just hope it is another movie Denzel dies in, don't you?

Hell no. I like Denzel. He deserved both his Oscars ,esp for Glory. One of the best war films ever made. Also was a fan of him on St Elseware. I hope they can make this like a franchise for him

Yikes.

What has happened to Denzel lately? Dude is taking a bunch of shitty roles. Unstoppable, The Book of Eli, and The Taking of Pelham 123 are all way below his pay grade. He's becoming a black Nic Cage.

Safe House was pretty terrible. But Denzel wasn't the problem with that movie Ryan Reynolds is kind of awful

Should I even bother watching it? Previews looked pretty good...

Depends on how much mileage you get out of the whole spy thriller genre. The twists are pretty glaringly obvious but its not like a terrible movie or anythng just somewhat generic.
