Garza has fluid buildup in his triceptual area

Dempster is a huge piece of crybaby shit who fucked the Cubs.

Travis Wood has certainly returned to his early season form.

It is a tough day to pitch...I'm not going to look too hard at the numbers today.

Change today into the rest of the season and that about sums up my Cubs interest from here on out now that we can't trade anyone. Olympic basketball into football season yay!

Wind blowing out? Cripes...

Cardinal radio feed only said "blowing right to left". Looking at that Molina job, one might think it's blowing out to left..

Also, I think it is safe to say that Anthony Rizzo will be the best first baseman in the history of Chicago baseball.

Frank Thomas dislikes this.

Swaimer needs to remember what the line is between aggressive and reckless. Why the hell are you running with LaHair and Valbuena.

Valbuena was a missed hit and run.

At least LenBob thinks so.

Only 2 of the Cardinal hits have gone for less than 4 bases. :drunken:

Well Joe West and his crew did cost DeJesus a HR the other day so it is to be expected.

Heard a guy call Macs show and say while listening to the LARRY holmes show (he actually said Larry...classic) Peggy and Larry were discussing Dempsters messy divorce being the cause of the trade flip flops by Dempster. First I heard of this?
I have a hard time believing Larry actually talked about this....seemed like a bit.

Googled Ryan Dempster Divorce for the hell of it and.....seems the divorce and the messy are true....internet true at least.

I've been seeing this issue pop up quite a bit in the comments section of a few Cubs blogs but I wasn't going to repeat it as it was just in the comments section and could have been completely made up. It does not appear to be made up. Sounds like all the more reason to get the hell out of town.

OK so family wasnt the reason... Why veto the trade? Some wonderful gentlemen's establishments in ATL.

From what I heard, Dempster really enjoyed his workout partner. The last injury was probably a kick to the balls.

Unexpected surprise - Just sold 4 tickets for double face+ on Stubhub?!?!
I always ask for crazy prices and hope somebody with too much money and / or stupidness bites...almost never works but did today.
So I jump back on Stubhub to get the 2 tickets I now need and Wow is this a playoff game?

I was there yesterday...1st and probably last game I attended this year.

One observation I made....Soto has a "rag arm". Each and every one of his throws to second...whether the warmup or actual game throw....had a loop to it. Meanwhile...cards catcher Molina...every one was a frozen rope....even the warm ups.

Other observations...

-some cute cardinal fan chicks in tight white tank tops...baseball hats! Nice
-Travis wood....sucked it
-rizzo...can hit...looks comfortable
-no dumpster sightings....wanted to boo his ass

In a year full of suck, he has been one of the bright spots. His strikeout to walk ratio is way better.
