Saw this movie last night. First scene of the movie, Olivia Munn show them titties girrrrl! Then Channing Tatum's ass which looked smoother/better than some of the ladies in the movie. Yes, the theater was full and mostly female. Kevin Nash is one of the dancers at the club. That is not a misprint. After watching years of pro wrestling and MMA, watching mostly naked men dance about wasn't a stretch for a movie experience. Nest scene is club, where Mike is trying to generate business by flirting with girls and passing out cards for the strip club. I could hear Joey Panthers voice in my head saying, "You gotta sell that shit!..."

Mike brings in a new guy who happens to have an attractive sister(shocking plot point, I know) Of course, male stripper is only a means to an end for our guy Channing, err, Magic Mike. For me, best part of the movie was Mike at the bank in a suit and glasses getting the loan officer lady all hot and bothered. She was getting tingly and verclempt, until she checked his credit score. That lady went cold as ice! It was a great scene. The drugs show up in the second half of the movie as I suspected they would. Matthew McConaughey isn't wearing a shirt at any point of the movie, a leather vest was the most he was ever covered up.

The movie ends with a few of the loose ends not tied up and had me saying, this is setting up for a sequel. I would recommend this movie to anybody who wants to get out of the heat for a few hours and watch a story with lots of good looking people in it. Also a couple of montages! Montage!

I was talking with one of the neighborhood women at a fest this weekend. She started talking about both this book and Magic Mike to me. I told her I don't know what's going on with other people in the neighborhood but dolphin is a straight dude. She said it was like porn for women...so I quickly told her if she wanted real porn to check out Two Girls One Cup...don't bring that weaksauce around me. Conversation over!

Great review! Finally saw this last night...loved it! The idea of a sequel never occured to me... "Magic Mike 2: Miami!"

I got home from the movie last night in time to see Sportscenter's coverage of "Tebow in the rain"...talk about an encore!!
Did I take advantage of rewinding on my DVR? Yes, I did.
