Uncle L almost single handedly ruins the song with that weak ass verse...

He was starting his transformation into Ladies Man "Doin it" L.L. there.

I think all 5 verses are real good examples of the rappers who spit them. Vintage...all of them

There is no more BustaRhymes-ey verse than that.

I like Rampage the best

Nice, we have a thread on here called all star rap with a bunch of these

Usually one guy ruins it. Classic by Kanye, Nas, KRS-ZERO, and Rakim was awesome except for one guy...guess who?

I don't really understand why KRS is regarded by many as some kind of legend.

Anyone who figured out that "overseer" was the root word of "officer" deserves to be a legend.

3 cd set of Ben Folds.... Disc one is 18 track "greatest hits", Disc two is 21 track of all live music, and
Disc 3 is 22 tracks of rarities and unreleased. I have pretty high hopes for it.

Is good. Sounds exactly like their last album. Includes a cover of Nirvana's Sliver, which I could have done without.

Ben Folds is not only an amazing talent, the guy is genuinely extremely cool and gracious.
I remember seeing BF5 at Double Door back on tour for I believe their 1st record, and after they played,
despite being pulled in several different directions, he stood there, listened to me gush, and talked to me for at least 45 minutes.
I also remember seeing him push his own piano up a ramp onto the stage at Lounge Ax when I'm sure he could've
had other people do it for him. Love the guy!

Just finishing up the Live disc right now and the first two discs would have been worth the $20 I
paid so looking forward to the Rarities after lunch. Good stuff, very enjoyable. A lot of songs I
never even realized were his. Kind of took a flier on this one not being a huge fan just knowing
I liked his stuff that would pop on my Pandora from time to time.

I've heard many versions of this one but stumbled upon this one. Great. Dylan and Tom Petty
sound pretty damn good together.

kickin it 1990 style with front line assembly - provision. click on the image to hear the self-titled song which sufficiently epitomizes the beauty of the "industrial" aka "machine rock" (my term) sound that i grew up loving back when q101 had the alternative beat (later industrial zone) on saturday nights with zoltar: the brother from another planet.

Image

incidentally, i saw zoltar at a cubanate / acumen show once in '96. he was a big tall black dude in some goofy outfit that looked like vegeta's saiyan armor with kneehigh boots with some sort of giant decorative diamond shape kneepads that extended up over the top of the boots. dude lived up to the name.... and the alternative beat used to fucking KILL between like, ~12:30-2am when he stopped playing the NIN/filter/gravity-kills/stuff-in-the-regular-rotation and would dig into the "deep cuts" where, example, you'd hear front 242's welcome to paradise or something like that.

Listening to all of the unreleased Mountain Goats tracks I have. "You're in Maya" is probably the best but "The Doll Song" is so damn catchy. It's a shame he doesn't play either of them anymore.

Stumbled upon this heavy metal band on YouTube and their screaming female lead singer (not Van Halen):

In This Moment

I would...

Never get sick of this album. It's worked it's way into my all time top 10, maybe even top 5.

I didn't really care for the first JLV release.

Moved on to a Kinks compilation that I downloaded...45 songs total. Completely underrated Invasion band.
