I just noticed this. How could The Who not be on such a list? How could Stone Temple Pilots be on one ahead of Pearl Jam?

And who the hell is Yes?

MoS is easily the best song on MLOTH, and I would go so far as to say the greatest U2 song of the 2000's.
I just love it!

I could MAYBE make a top ten.

Nothing less.

Bad
WTSHNN
One
I Will Follow
UTEOTW
Walk On
Sunday Bloody Sunday
The Fly
With or Without You
Running to Stand Still

Probably different if I make that list tomorrow. Just too good.

Not to mention that they have such Rock and Roll gods as the Bee Gees. You cant deny their popularity but R&R? I dont think so.

Before they became Disco sell outs, The Bee Gees actually recorded some great stuff in the 60's.

The disco stuff they did was good too.

It cant be denied. Those guys had funk and a great sound.

Surely, you've at least heard Owner Of A lonely Heart or Roundabout, no?

Ok, yeah, I just spotified them and recognized owners of a lonely heart without having to hear it... The other ones not so much... I must have lived a sheltered life. The list needs more Fleetwood Mack :drunken:

The Ramones saved rock and roll music. This list is flawed.

http://www.avrev.com/top-100-bands-of-all-time/top-10-rock-bands/index.php Here's the website from which the list was taken. It came up first on my google search when I typed in top 100 rock bands of all time. Its obviously subjective and flawed ( The Who being a glaring omission). Im sure you could do 50 different searches and each list would have some variances, I just used it as a starting off point.

Reminds me of how young some guys are on here sometimes. If you would do a ranking of the top 10 musicians on their respective instruments, most polls would probably have have Bill Bruford, Rick Wakeman, Steve Howe and Chris Squire at or near the top of each list as far as being the "best" players. That being said , they havent been relevant in quite some time so its understandable that some people might never have heard of them.
