So a friend of mine decided he wanted to go see a movie last night and deciding that I didn't want to see Transformers (I dunno, just seemed odd), I decided to see the latest Die Hard movie.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much. However, I was very entertained and found the story to be an interesting one. My only problem with the movie was the fact that the character who McClane drags around with him is played by that douchebag from the Apple commercials; you know, the smug hippie tree-hugger who desperately needs a shave. If they would have killed him off, I would have turned around and dropped another 7.50 to see it again. Yet, I digress. Anyhow, I would say it was a good show all around.

Just saw this movie this afternoon & I got what I expected: good, mindless, mind-numbing entertainment. BUT, my buddy Mr. Skin & I were hoping for a little skin-showing cheesecake & all I got was some asian actress "Maggie Q" in long shirts & long pants & young schoolgirl McLane in a long skirt.

I can't help you out with Mary Elizabeth Winstead but here's some Maggie Q from Maxim Hong Kong

I saw this over the weekend. Not bad. Justin Rose actually was good in his role, he wasn't extra goofy or anything.

Justin Rose? Is that Jim Rose's cousin?

Thread hijack
Who would you rather bludgeon in the face with a brick - Justin Long or Jimmy Fallon?

My vote? I'd throw the brick at an angle that it would hit one and then ricochet off his face directly at the other's.

If at all possible, which probably speaks volumes about my self esteem.

I liked the movie. Has almost everything I look for in an action movie. Explosions. Wisecracks from Bruce Willis. Explosions. Lots of gunfire.Shit blowing up. Justin Long was okay, although I hate him cuse he used to bang Brew Barrymore. Plus it had Kevin Smith in it so I was pleased.

This movie was nonsensical. Action sequences were OK, but the premise was non-existent, and you really aren't trying to live up to too much to do a Die Hard sequel. None of the other sequels were intended to be sequels! Keep it semi-normal and you are good. That being said, Maggie Q was a definite plus, but Jr Indiana Jones did nothing for me. They probably should have left this one to die on its own and worried about a new LaBeuf franchise. Something like "The Steel House" or "Triple Nine"... oh the suspense of a cop gone bad. Or a bad guy gone good. Whoopidiee doo.
