Lendl struggled on clay? Three French Open titles -- sounds like a struggle to me. Lendl had his issues on grass -- losing both of his Wimbledon finals matches.
Sampras -- in Meat's top three players of all time --never even made the French Open finals.

BTW, no love for Nadal, Matt?
Dominates one surface -- like Sampras -- but he also has the career grand slam.

At this point, my top three would be
1. Federer
2. Laver
3. Nadal
