Swaimer's shift failed miserably on that first double. You would have thought that they won the world series by the way ramirez celebrted it at 2nd.

Was listening to the game on my IPad on the MLB '12 app. Had KLAC on listening to former Booyeah Network anchor Charlie Steiner and former Cubs/Dodgers outfielder Rick Monday. I have always like listening to the Steiner/Monday duo. I will listen to them sometimes even if the Cubs aren't playing the Dodgers.

  Nice slide into 3rd Soriano...even though the right fielder was just getting the ball in his glove.

The Dodgers are on a 5,000-watter? That's it? Man, that's weak. No KABC? The Angels at KMPC might have a better signal than that.

KLAC is the top sports station in Southern California. It's the home of The Jungle.

I guess I'm old-fashioned in that I feel baseball teams belong on 50,000-watt clear channels (except the White Sox, screw them). I thought it really sucked when the Cardinals left KMOX for some dinky little stick that barely even made it out to Alton, considering that the Cardinals owe much of their huge fanbase to KMOX booming across the midwest. I wouldn't be able to pick up the Dodgers here, well east of the Rockies, but I love it when I can pick up the Reds, Cardinals, or Twins from afar thanks to that mighty ionosphere.

I mean, I guess it could be worse, but it's not a contour map befitting the mighty Los Angeles Dodgers, is it?

That's a signal.

The shark is still a bum, fine by me if they sever ties this off season with this guy.

Yeah, I would rather have a young pitching prospect with a higher ceiling over this goof..He will never put it together..he is going to be 28. Continue the house cleaning.

Driving up to Toronto 1 or 2 years ago at night for a weekend of drinking and picked up WGN Cubs game crystal clear after passing Windsor. Made driving past Canadian corn fields much easier.

So Vohlstad must have looked OK last night? Shocked when I saw the Dodgers only scored 3 runs.

2 er, 6 hits through 7 innings. Probably the best start of his career. The runs came off a 2 run bomb by Kemp.

Jackson is in the lineup and batting 2nd. Castro is 5th??wtf??

Vitters is not in the lineup so maybe he isn't there yet because if fucking Valbuena is starting over him Swaimer has some questions to answer.

Jackson with his 1st major league hit while Vitters watches.

Jackson has looked good today at the plate. Looks relaxed and ready to go at the major league level. Nice to see.

Not sure I like the idea of Castro in the 5 hole. I think I would prefer

2. Jackson
3. Castro
4. Rizzo
5. Soriano

Every decision Dale Quade seems to be making backfires. Every time he heads out to the mound bad things happen. His pinch hitters haven't done a damn thing and he sits Vitters for no reason at all.

You think Sveum is the one deciding how much he will play in the next 2 months? Really?
