If Campbell has a good preseason game and Jay farts the field how much you wanna bet callers will start in on the Score demanding he start?

You really don't think people will call for him to start? Come on! The most popular athlete in Chicago is always the Bears backup QB. Peyton Manning in his prime could be the Bears starter and Hanie his backup and there'd be calls for Hanie.

And with the media hating Cutler they will fuel any fire.

You've started five of the last sixteen Bears threads and they've all sucked. Time to convert to active listening for a while.

I'm wrong. You might do it.

Who's going to make the call to Chad Hutchinson?

No. Football fans are racist. Nobody is going to be calling for a black quarterback to start.

It means absolutely, positively nothing if Jason Campbell and/or Josh McCown have good games tonight vs. the Broncos.

Consider what happened a couple years ago when the Bears brought in the infamous Todd Collins to start the final preseason game in Cleveland. Just because Todd played decent in that game didn't mean squat when it mattered and Jay Cutler was too concussed to play vs. a rotten Carolina Panthers' team. In plain English, take what happens tonight with a grain of salt.

There probably will be some meatballs calling for JC at some point, no doubt....no matter what happens.

Who wouldn't want Jesus Christ starting for their team?

I can't believe Lovie named Campbell the new starter before they even played a preseason game.

Good move though. He was 80% completion tonight.

It's a bold move, but I'm 100% behind it.

That caught me a little off guard, Doc. I knew that Jay Cutler & Kristin Cavallari welcomed a baby boy into the world, but I didn't think Cutler would be kept out of last night's preseason game vs. the Broncos. Even for no more than 2 series, before the severe weather delayed the kickoff.
