Walt leased them. That wouldn't turn up anything, would it?

Oh yeah....never leased anything before. How does that work? Don't they need credit checks and whatnot?

He leased both cars.

They would have to track the funds used for acquisition of the car wash, money sent for his treatment, and that check that went to Ted Beneke.

That's the thing...how "in" this is Hank considering Walt's drug $$$ was used to fund Hank's hospital bills?

It's gonna be after he's been shot by Walt.

I think it'll be on purpose.

Hank kills Jesse and Walt puts him down for killing his "son".

Something has got to happen to bring Walt back to earth & that something might just be his Son begins using Meth & Walt finds out...or maybe Skylar begins using. There are so many possibilities to how this show ends, I just hope there is an actual ending & not some goofy ending like Seinfeld or the Sopranos.
As far Skylar not looking very good this season, they have made her down to fit with her depression & unhapiness. She isn't supposed to look good.
One thing we do know is that Walts cancer does not come back since he had hair in the season premier flash forward scene.
I cant wait until the last episode...but damn am I going to miss this show & looking forward to it every Sunday.

He can have cancer and hair at the same time.

Yeah, I get the impression that at this point he has given up on the chemo. In that first scene of the season he needs to take some pills and also seems very out of it and withered.

But I'm guessing that he is more an emotional mess than anything else.

He paid cash for the cars. He just told Hank that he got a great deal on the leases.

Agreed. I watched it thrice. Really think it emphasizes than their marriage is finally done in Walt's eye and now Sky is just another pawn he needs to control on a day to day basis.

I actually like his son a lot. He's been the constant rock/connection to Walt's old life and the thing that truly has stopped in from going all drug kingpin. Until last Sunday's episode at least

Didn't he also previously tell Skyler that he leased them - at the kitchen table scene?

Walt doesn't always tell the truth. He did just pocket $117,000 from the first cook. A guy in his line of work tends to pay cash for purchases such as this.

Oh Landry, how far you've fallen since Friday Night Lights!

Probably one of the reasons he was cast for this role, such a great contradiction from the guy he played on FNL.

If this isn't the best hour long show in the history of tv then I would really like to hear what is.

The WTF of the opening scene and how they tied it into the end of the episode was amazing.

Totally agree, and I was upset with myself that I didn't see the poor kid's demise coming as soon as he reappeared.

Who really expects them to shoot a kid? I know I didn't. It wasn't like the kid being shot in the Walking Dead. That had to be done. This one never even had a chance.

I really liked how they took the time to personalize the kid a bit before offing him. Made him even more sympathetic than just some random bystander and obviously that hits the audience harder during the money shot.

Yep. Final 8 next year. I would assume airing in July '13 like this year, but who knows.

The last 8 episodes start filming in November, if I recall correctly. I'm annoyed they're splitting them up 8 and 8.

If I were to meet an untimely demise before they air, I'd hope St. Peter has the last 8 on DVD.

Don't worry, he is a Netflix subscriber.
