I think it has probably the best theme song for a cartoon. Does anyone remember the show?

 I'm old enough to remember the cartoon series when Saturday morning TV was filled with a lot of it. It originally aired from 1984-91 on CBS, featuring Barbara Billingsley, Howie Mandel & Dave Coulier among the signature voices.

Best known as "June Cleaver" on "Leave it to Beaver", Billingsley provided the voice of "Nanny" on the '80s cartoon. If you ever watched the show like I did back then, although the voice was very recognizeable, producers NEVER showed her face in any episode. I'm not making this up! For the first 2 seasons, they listed Mandel, best known in recent years as the host of "Deal or No Deal", as the voice of "Animal". Coulier from "Full House" fame provided "Animal's" voices the rest of the series' run.

I think the folks at Marvel Productions & Jim Henson Associates got the idea from a live-action film, I believe called "The Muppets Take Manhattan". If memory serves, that film featured a sequence with Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and the other Muppets as babies. In fact, here's a little more...

I'm against amphibian/mammal relations. If you cant make a baby from the union it shouldnt be allowed!!!

I think Kermit dug Gonzo though

Something could have been worked out between the 3 of them.

The nose could have been used like a 2nd penis. That puts the ratio of penii to vagine at 3-1. An unacceptable ratio in this reporters opinion.

I bet she did Sharky. I bet she did. Lonely nights when Kermit is out recording Rainbow Connection, who to turn to but the man who can take care of business like no one else in the 69.

Muppet Babies was the biggest communist propaganda beset upon our children since The Smurfs.

Looks like Kermit kinda had a thing for Gonzo's nose.

Those and Thundercats was pretty much it for me. I think there was a WWF cartoon
too if I am not mistaken.

Yes, there was. The year was 1985, and CBS aired a cartoon called "Hulk Hogan's Rock n' Wrestling", complete with live action sequences starring Hulk & WWF commentator "Mean" Gene Okerlund.

I believe you can still watch some of those on the Hub network. What I forgot about G.I. Joe was how ridiculously evil the cobra commando characters were.
