The Strosephs are in town and if you thought the Cubs were bad then prepare yourself for the awfulness of this beyond gutted roster. They will probably find a way to win.....which is great because the Cubs need to position themselves for the #2 pick. The Stroskis will get #1 but they won't pay Appel which leaves him there for The Cubs who will take him and put him in the 2114 rotation.

Some other things to watch for:

Will Castro remove his head from his ass? Probably not

Will Rizz get a hot bat again? Only if Garza is there to light it on fire in another episode of dugout hijinks

Will Vitters ever play? Maybe but Swaimer loves him some Valbuena.

Will Jackson hit or just K every ab? He will hit. First 2 bombs as a Cub are on there way.

My prediction....OKC wins 2 out of 3.

Well you don't sign Dejesus then Jackson fills that void..ready or not , this team was destined for last place or damn close to it...Same thing with Rizzo..so what is he is arb eligible an extra year early ? either way that guy will have a new deal longgg before that, like in the next year or two at most..so losing control would never be an issue either way...unless he absolutely sucked and was still on the same deal in 4 years..and if that is the case ..you don't want him.

9 out of ten times a top prospect is acquired there is a competent major leaguer holding that position down..This is not the case when you absolutely suck and have no future plans for 99% of the roster.

I honestly think Campana is better then jackson..and will be forever..and I am no fan of Campana...No shit dejesus is a competent major leaguer..but why sign him? ..you already admitted he accounted for zero more wins..you wasted money that you did not need to...There is 2 guys who may be a part of this team on the roster..Rizzo/Castro..the rest are not good enough to prevent any top prospect from seeing at bats.
