Had a blast...sang great music horribly, drank and ate many delicious treats, and was able to mingle with board members familiar and unfamiliar (seriously, Furious Styles!).

Good news is I remember everything I did.

Bad news is...I remember everything I did. Including deciding to throw one of Darkside's footstools in the massive campfire that Hoffy and I had just built to absurd heights. But yeah, it was a blast, and even though the massive gourging led to an involuntary purging the next morning, I'd do it all again in a heartbeat.

My assessment of the gathering: 100% Fun.

My 1st bored gathering was anything but. Drank more beer in one night than I had in the last six months. Met many entertaining characters. Arrived too late for the food, but caught a most awesome rendition of Friday I'm in Love (seriously, you guys killed it). Paced myself appropriately for a few hours until I decided to attack the keg with vigor, followed by a steady diet of Jello Shots.

Glad I was able to play a supporting role in killing it, even moreso that I was there to witness it.

Uninvited 2am Visitor was either an escaped mental patient or a serial killer. I'm convinced of it. Left unattended with Darkside, I feared he would treat Darkside's head like Kevin Spacey did to Gwyneth Paltrow's in Se7en.

I need to get me one of those mini-lights for the music stand.

Party was fun as always. It seemed to move faster this year for some reason. We did all show up a little later though. Lot's of good music and sports conversations...Pretty sure that the GF and I drank 90% of the vodka-beer-lemonade punch. It was kinda weak at the end...probably like 2.5% alcohol content.
The food was great as always. The funfetti cake mix-cream cheese-cool whip thing was amazing. However, Teddy Grahams are way too small to be as a dipping implement.
Glad everyone liked the steak. It came out really well this year. Salsa was a little hot, but everyone seemed to like that as well.
Fireworks were pretty good. Last years show was better.

Drunken karaoke and the random dance party that erupted were easily the funniest things I have seen this year. If people haven't seen the picture of Lipid getting at it on my facebook page...you're missing something.

Btw: you guys were pretty loudly wasted when we left at 11:30ish. I was certain the cops were going to be called.

oh...and I think the fire needed at least one more log, or 12.
