Ashamed?

Either way I don't figure myself as some vanguard or whatnot...people were just too scared to speak the truth, express their true feelings about the show or even level solid criticism. They were hidden away in undisclosed locations hiding from a certain group of people that, no matter how bad things got, would always lecture us on how good and awesome the show was even when it entered into a, seemingly, terminal decline. Any peep of negativity would result in a signal flare in the sky and a massive beatdown and silencing of those who dared speak truth to power.

It isn't like that anymore. Sure the old, broken down and powerless regime that once held the reigns of this fair board squawks from time to time...but it's mostly background noise or a death rattle from a once powerful operation.

SomeGuy, we could be a powerful force if you would only choose to let go of your selfishness and agree with me on everything.

I agree with this. Or maybe Goff was always like this and we just didn't know...

Again, this board was in full "We Love Goff" mode a year or so ago and now it has shifted a bit. There are legitimate criticisms that are being leveled at Goff around these parts and there is nothing wrong with that. I mean, he was being built up on here and everyday there was talk about him getting a prime time gig, it was even hinted at by BernSTINE, Boers and Mac. It never happened, I wonder why?

That's very much true. Goff has to "label" you after a sports conversation. That's always the case with him. Every conversation is just so heavy with him. He projects too much meaning to shit. Always on edge. You're gonna have a heart attack going through life like this, Goff. I can't imagine your reaction to a real crisis.

Goff's want to label those that don't agree with him is a fall back for his own insecurities. It's a classic defense mechanism.

Goff seems to spend a lot of time branding himself. He's the NBA Expert, so he'll tell you why you're basketball stupid, but he's also The Cool Young Guy, so don't call him the NBA Expert, because he never asked for that title. He's the SCORE Stuff Brothers Don't Do Expert, but don't call in and mention race, because jeez everything is about race with you flatbrim-hating white people. He's the Social Media Guy, but he'll block your ass if you so much as breathe a word about that one time when (in his capacity as NBA Expert only don't call him that) he blew the biggest story of the year. Just calm the fuck down and do your thing, man.

When he is on the BernsSTINE show he, at times, comes off as someone looking for approval or trying to hard to be like BernSTINE or when he chimes in to take a counter position for the sake of it.

Ok, let me ask you guys a hypothetical question.....lets just say Doug makes a platinum record, or I make a critically acclaimed movie , and as a result of that, we didn't have much time for the board, or respond back to texts/emails/PM's....would you all then turn on us, too?

I think his chime ins on B&B are great. He's solid as a fill in guy, and when he gets to drive the bus I think he does just fine. Some of youse guys seem to have a personal problem with him. I'm not trying to be his best buddy, I just want to be entertained. He delivers that for me.

Goff makes more ignorant, bigoted and racist comments than any Score caller or texter. Goff might be the only person in the history of the world that fights racism with racism. I think he looks like a fool, but nobody at the Score calls him on it.

I still like Goff. My stance on him is that many of his opinions are over the top and I disagree with them, but that's kind of the job.

Doug sucks now, so he'd still suck if he had a hit record.
