Seems that the MP4's will not transfer over? any suggestions? Tried Google Music and Verizon Backup Plus.

It's about 600 of my 800 tunes

There was a product called SoundTaxi back in the days, but I'm not sure if they are still around. You have to purchase it. Back in the days it was about $30.

Fucking I tunes. I can't even figure out how to get my songs off my ipod and onto my new computer. I've done it once before.....but now with windows 7 its become a different kind of beast.

There is a free program, something called No tunes? or something like that. I have used it for that very issue and I dont use a mac...

I had about 60 songs I had to convert when uploading all of my music to Google Play a couple months ago.

I found a program that is basically a virtual CD Drive. It "burns" all of your songs to this virtual drive, which converts them to MP3, and then you can upload them to wherever you want to put them. I was able to use a trial version because I had such a small amount of music purchased in MP4 format (Luckily I changed my default encoding in iTunes to MP3 years ago)

Another option is to actually burn them to a cd, and then re-upload them. But if you got 600 songs, that is going to take a shitload of time, and a waste of CD-R's.
