Also, I find it funny that Spiegel needs so much time to recover. I was at an event when they were Van Morrison and he wasnt there, and they clearly didnt need him. Is he the lead singer? I know he doesnt play any instruments.

I would hope it didn't get cancelled because of some Petty cover songs the night before. Christ, Speigs wouldn't even have to go to the game. Show up at 4, press the flesh a bit, maybe man the grill for a few minutes, and leave after the game starts. He could be back home by 7:00 if he wanted.

Sing some cover songs at 8:30pm and the 670 Mac/Meat Tailgate event (you know, the show/business that Meat works) is at 4pm? Sweet Jesus. It better not be because Meat can't get his ass out the door in time because he needs recovery time.

Pretty shitty if that's the case. And pretty fucking lazy as well.

Would MeatPants really need to be there at all? Would he let Mac "fall on his sword" (If you will) and not speak up about it? I'm not sure if I'm buying that this is the only reason. It may very well be one of the reasons, but can't be the only one.

My guess is there is plenty of blame to go around and Mac is trying to deflect a little. Meats recovery day, maybe somebody forgot to get in contact with a supplier, somebody didn't clear things with the Sox in a timely manner. That sort of thing
