I just heard an organ version of George Harrison's, "I Got My Mind, Set On You", good to know the North Side supports the greatest Beatle.

Since it's still raining, I would like to add to this

Pretty much once Dawson and Dunston left, I immediately became a fan of just about every brother that played for the team.....

Derrick May (his number was 27 so he would have my birthday on his jersey :D )

Scott Bullett

Ozzie Timmons

Kevin Foster

Chuck McElroy

Outstanding.

By the way, I still have a 100-count of Derrick May rookie cards for sale. This guy is gonna be a thing. PM for details. Opening bid $5,000.

@ least one of us answered Dbags question. Wow.

My favorite bad Cub of the '90s was Sammy Sosa.

I don't think backup catcher Rick Wrona made it past 1989 with the Cubs, but I remember going to the ballpark that year and I met his grandfather who had just come from will call, and for some reason, I thought that was really cool.

What's taking so long for a JORR-like story from Big Fan about the 98 Cubs?

I was sitting at the bar when all of a sudden, Matt Mieske, Don Wengert, and Terry Adams pull up a chair....

The 90s Cubs were a big pile of poop for the most part.

Damon Berryhill was a case of what might have been without the injuries. I also thought he should have married Vida Blue's sister so her name would be Blue Berryhill.

Doug Glanville is an oustanding columnist. IF they ever thought of bringing an ex player into the COmmisioners office he should be #1. He wasn't a very good player though.
