I think today's show is going to be great. Really, really, really great. Zach thinks so, and if Zach thinks so, you know it's gonna be good, because, you know, Zach is from New York, and that means he knows quality. I went clubbing with Lance to get myself pumped up and Lance thinks it'll be a great show, too. And needless to say, my mom thinks it's gonna be a great show.

I'm really looking forward to learning about the latest genius moves from some person named Kinney Williams (not sure who that is), how Dan Bernstein can be so right about everything, and why the Score is the best place in the world to work.

It's the first of three straight days of "Laurence, Laurence, Laurence!", pardon my bad Bears' HC Lovie Smith imitation, sitting in for Boers alongside Bernstein, and that includes Friday's "Bud Light 'Who Needs Two?' Tavern Tour" live broadcast at Joe's on Weed Street near DePaul University's Lincoln Park campus.

Whether we like him or absolutely loathe him, guess what? It might be a sign of things to come, especially if "Uncle Terry" as LoHo refers to him decides to call it a career. I'm convinced as long as Mitch Rosen continues to call the shots as Program Director along with SCORE V.P. & General Manager Paul Agase, LoHo will continue to have quite a presence as part of WSCR 670's daily lineup. In my opinion, he has to be the favorite by SCORE management to be Terry's heir apparent should he retire in the near future. By cracky!

I've lived in four major metropolitan areas and consumed a good amount of sports radio in all of them, and I have never in my life heard someone who invests as much emotional and intellectual energy in his relationships with players and coaches as Leery does. He's the one guy about whom every single CSFMB stereotype/running joke is 100% accurate.

Whether it's a NBC reference, a source that passed along information, or references to his rocky relationship (at times) with Lovie Smith, I think Holmes feels the need to validate himself as an "expert".

Guys, I've also heard The SCORE's big voice guy refer to Laurence Holmes not as an "expert" or as evening host, but as a "Bears Insider". Doesn't RED ALERT! RED ALERT! have that title?

Speak for yourself! Other guys on this board refer to Zach Zaidman the same way.

You think Bernsy & Holmes replay Mac & Spiegs' controversial interview with Notre Dame radio analyst (for now) Allen Pinkett between 1:15-ish & 5:30P today?

Bernsie reconducting the interview with the questions that should have been asked.

Man, why do you have to announce that every day?

Goff is an "insider" on the Bulls/NBA, Hoge is a Big 10 "insider, Holmes/Zaidman is an "insider on the Bears/NFL.

I think it's just a title the station gives to give these people credibility.

How people on this board announce "PTFB" or something similar? Do you ever post the above question to them?

No?

WELL THEN BACK OFF.

Incorrect, sir!

The combination of BernSTINE + LEERY + having to sit through the Rolan Gartner and the Mayor of Cheeseburger Park is keeping me from firing up the stream.

It took all of 5 minutes for Bernstein to bring up the Green Lantern. It's the Big B&B Bang Theory.

See, and that's where you and I differ. Because you find entertainment in that stuff. Me? I just kinda shake my head and wish he worked on NBC full time.

Oh well. Potato/potatto; tomato/tomatto.

The Score is already cutting promos for a Controversial Interview On Their Very Airwaves where a guy said that it helps when the people who play a sport that consists of strategically hurting people are kinda bad guys. I'm surprised they didn't say it happened on the Home Of The First-Place Chicago White Sox while they were at it.

I'm glad you noticed that too. We're going to hear it for the next 3 weeks.
