There are more than twenty Lower Mainlanders who are cognizant of Barry Rozner and dislike him. Probably in the hundreds, if the message boards where his articles get reprinted are any indication. It's probably more of an "oh not him again stop posting him" thing. I'm trying to think of who we have like that from out of town. Bernie Miklasz, maybe? Mike Hunt in Milwaukee? We probably loathe our own sportswriters more than other towns'.

I throw that in the same category as his love of rap and hip hop while in college, which means I think it is highly overstated and was only done as a poser. His mucial interest was to gain street cred with the Duke basketball players and his smoking pot was to gain street cred with his classmates from even farther flung suburbs. I picture Bernstien like Spaulding in Caddyshack breaking out a bag and braggin how "he got it from a negro".

No, he's mentioned it enough times and in different anecdotes. He wouldnt go that far with a street cred lie.

He probably exaggerates it, but Id be shocked if he didnt at least get high a couple times in college

No, I would not call anyone a "pot head" I don't like the term..sounds negative..and there is nothing wrong with smoking marijuana..I have heard Dan mention smoking or buying or trading something for weed 20 odd times over the years..when he is fishing and away from the old lady he is smoking on occasion.
