I talked with Mac about the interview today and how widespread the coverage on the interview has become. The interview Theisman did and how He and Meat tried to give Pinkett a chance to couch the initial comments he made about needing a few criminals....but he didn't want to. He just confimed his position. Not surprised it got him fired. Dumb comments. Good interview though.

Just a fact. Mac said he was kinda surprised too at all the attention the interview has gotten and said he's gotten a bunch of calls congratulating him on the interview. Amazing how quickly things spread in todays twitter world.

Nice! It's just like a day calling in on the radio for you. You said the same thing in 2 different places.

2 posts stating the exact same thing, surprised you didn't slip "I talked to Mac" into the last one too.

You mean the part where Mac and Speigel giggled like reporters covering a Dusty Baker or Lou Piniella press conference? Pinkett was going to say what he said whenever the opportunity arose. It just so happened to be on their show. There was no 60 Minutes type of investigative reporting going on. The giggling at his answer said it all, and their followup was Journalism 101. Would've been a story had they not done that.

I'd be interested to hear Kelsey Grammer's thoughts on the matter, as well.

Well. Since he is one of the kindest, most gentle men in the world (I know becasue he threw half on an uneaten sandwich in the direction of Steve once) I'd have to guess he's pretty broken up about the whole thing...
