The place is fucking awesome. Nothing more needs to be said. Do what you need to do in order to get to one.

I took a road trip across Canada many years ago and Horton's was a frequent stop. Big Fan of the Timbits.

If you don't mind taking a small detour there are a couple in Toledo. There's a Tim Horton right off the highway if you take 75 north to Buck Rd. from the Ohio Turnpike.

Going to Toronto in mid-September so even more excited to have it everyday up there.

Depending on the way you are going, they are all over Ohio, if you are taking 70 or 80/90 you should be able to find one.

I don't understand why they don't try to position themselves to unseat Dunkin here. No competition has made Dunkin produce a really low grade donut

What is a real shame is that Crispy Creames overextended themselves and they all closed down

It's definitely better than Duncan Donuts and one of the best Donut places in the Great White North.

One of the highlights of going to Muskegon is getting some Tim Hortons. The coffee isn't all that great, but the donuts are awesome.

Dunkin's coffee is still the goods, KS.

I'll take Tim Horton's because I don't drink coffee.

I tried this place. The mocha sucked, the Boston Creme Pie donut wasn't as good as Dunkin Donuts. The Maple Dip one was good though.

My wife threw her mocha away and went to Starbucks. I drank it because poor kids in Africa wish they had a mocha to drink.

This would have to be accomplished by franchisee migration since there is not enough capital, human resources, and real estate with palatable price points on the sidelines that would just flow into a new brand. It's probably safe to speculate that the DD franchise agreements contain clauses limiting frnachisee's capacity for unencumbered severance of ties with the franchise.

You drank your wife's Mocha that was in the garbage? Times must be tough at the Boilermaker household...

Slightly better than Dunkin Donuts. Prefer Dunk Donuts in Melrose Park.

I haven't had one for a while, but Dunkin's coffee with cream and sugar is my all time favorite.

The ones I go to have nothing that resembles "cream".

The Little Brown Jug in Delaware, Ohio is the biggest pacing race of the year. Over 50,000 people attend on a Thursday afternoon in a town of about 35,000. All the schools are closed. It's a real holiday there.

There is a lot of drinking and debauchery. It's sort of like a miniature version of Indy's snakepit. Up until the late 80s there was an impromptu strip show in the apple orchard on the backstretch after the races. One year someone brought a busload of professionals in from Columbus. Eventually, they sent cops on horseback in to make sure that shit didn't happen. Another tradition dead.

Anyway, a few years back I got there at about 8:00 a.m. on Thursday morning. People were already drinking and I saw a group of people standing behind a table that had a makeshift sign that said "TIM HORTON'S DOUGHNUTS: $1.00". I went up to buy one and there seemed to be confusion. Finally someone handed me one and took my buck, although he didn't seem too interested in the dollar. I told my girlfriend that I didn't think that was a real Tim Horton's. But the doughnut was one of the best I ever had. The next day as we were heading out of town on Route 23, I saw a real Tim Horton's and went in to get one of those doughnuts. They didn't have them. I don't know who made the doughnut I ate at the Jug. It wasn't Tim Horton. But it was fuckin' awesome!
