Bears are just fine with 2 QB's. If you get to #3 it doesn't really matter anyway.

I was thinking the same thing, but let's not forget what happened to the Bears once Jay Cutler went down due to injury and the disaster that was Caleb Hanie right after Cutler went down and out.

If I remember, the Houston Texans lost both Matt Schaub & Matt Leinart due to injury, but T.J. Yates helped get the Texans to the AFC South title for the first team in franchise history.

That is the exception not the rule. Jay will be much more safe & secure this year with Martz & his ridiculous system now gone.

I'd like to think so, Scorehead. Mac held out hope to a certain extent that the Bears will be bad enough in which Ron Pitts & Mike Martz would call a Bears' game on the "NFL on FOX" at some point this season.

No one should ever want to hear Mike Martz do NFL play by play. Ever.

Goodbye, again to Kahlil Bell
Quote:
The Chicago Bears released veteran running back Kahlil Bell on Monday and signed tight end Brody Eldridge.

Bell had 12 carries for 32 yards this season after he was signed in the wake of Matt Forte's ankle injury.

I am not reporting this.
