6 of the last 10 games the Sox have is against the juggernaut that is the Cleveland Indians.

So no excuses. They should bring this division title home.

Hell of a road trip by the Sox, mercy. If the Tigers finish the sweep, this will be extremely embarassing. You get swept 2 straight series in the D, and you had your 2 aces going.

White Sox = 2012 Paperchamps. Frank, you seriously underestimated Detroit. Sox blow and will get swept at home by KC this week.

I'm listening to these guys call this game and the only conclusion I can come to is that the Tigers are one of the greatest teams in the history of the game. What I can't figure out is how a team so great could be tied with the shitty White Sox after 133 games.

I can help you with that one.....By beating the Sox in the last 3, to pull even.

Well, you can't pitch around the whole lineup. Sale owned Young tonight. The Sox just made the mistake of thinking they could throw the same damn pitch to a professional hitter countless times without him killing you. A face-high fastball would have likely struck him out. But Sale has nibbled this whole game. It's not how I want my "ace" to pitch.

I thought it was more of a case of Young hitting a good pitch. True he'd seem the same pitch several times in the AB but fuck he took that off his shoe tops , wasnt even a strike.

Yeah, it was a good pitch in that it was exactly where and how Sale wanted to throw it. It was just a bad idea. Young knew it was coming and was just sitting there waiting for it. I can't help but wonder if A.J. would have called it there.

The play by this team recently has been fucking flat out embarrassing. Getting swept twice by the Tigers is unfuckingacceptable. I have no real reason to believe they will win 2 of 3 from KC this week and I believe they will be ending the season fighting for a WC slot. Sale is pitching like an asshole and the lineup has plum forgotten how to hit a baseball.
Fucking shameful.

6 hits last night and 4 tonight. The offense sure tucked their cock and balls between their legs for this series. Assholes.

Was there something said said to AJ by Verlander or did I not hear the broadcast correctly?

Well the Sox fucked up by not putting Detroit out if their misery.

But all is still well.

When he was still in the game or when AJ was up in the 9th?

No. It was Valverde pitching.

Jake Peavy will step it up and bring it home for the Pale Hose. Or will he choke? That pitching staff is looking pretty shaky to say the least and now they're not hitting either.

Scary. But hey, at least their not the Cubs!

What a fucking chickenshit he is then. Had all fucking night to talk shit when he was on the mound and the big man decides to wait until hes on the bench to chirp? Easy to open up your mouth when you dont have to grab a bat. Fuck you Verlander, what, you taking lessons from Goff?

I'll volunteer to record the Score's new promos for the home of your tied-for-first-place White Sox.

Bad road trip. Horrible road trip.

Sox still regroup, get hot, and win the division. Frustrated? Yes. Worried? Nope.

For whatever reason, I have the same feeling I had in 2005. Everybody was crazy when the Sox lead got down to a mere game and a half. I never panicked, was confident in that team, and they ended up winning the division. I believe the same thing will happen this year.

I agree that the Sox will regroup and have a lead again by the end of the week. Everyone will once again be talking about Ventura's incredible demeanor. No one will say what effect if had while losing six of seven.

I too feel a bit 2005ish regarding the division but not quite the same. That team just won so many different ways, they had that team of destiny thing goin on
