I know you're talking to gd, but for the record, the reason I say Beardown isn't even right this time, is because Beardown thinks the DaMaNa stuff was malicious. I say it was ball busting fun. So Beardown's premise is entirely wrong.

That said, it is certainly no coincidence that this move happened.

But you keep dancing around the FACT that Jason got all shy and nervous when Mac asked him about the ball-busting fun. Why not just say, "Hey man, just breking balls, partner. It's what guy friends do."? I'll tell you what it wasn't good nature at all. How about if I start posting Keeping Score every time someone mentions a criminal act? Would you find that good-natured ball-busting?

Have you not paid attention around here? That already happens.

But in this case, it didn't happen. Does Mac usually call Jason into the studio? "I thought I was coming in to discuss Mr. Marcus." Mac was pissed at being referred to as a "relevant idiot." Do you really doubt that?

Keep in mind, one can be jealous of one specific thing, but not the whole person's life
