I don't think I have done that and I won't speak for anyone else. But, what is the difference that he seems to post more now and just repeats the same post he just quoted over and over. I am sorry, it just gets old, but I won't continue to beat him up over it like you stated there is no harm done by it. But I don't have to like it.

This is my main issue. It's often the same "cut and paste" type info. over and over again or extraneous information posted simply for the sake of posting something. Redskingreg (or A7X, or maybe both) recently told him that it's not necessary to reply to nearly every post in a thread. After a while it stops being mildly amusing just seems more like spam.

Tad, what really sucks is that your above quote has been stated repeatedly by different posters in different ways in this very thread. And still, the concept continues to *fall on deaf eyes.

COF, he is also the ONLY posted who doesn't getting attacked. Ever. Nobody ( to my knowledge) has ever insulted him repeatedly like other posters on this board. Simply disagreeing with him or stating (usually correctly) something to the effect of, 'SHARK there is too much info in this post,' is not attacking him.

As others have said many times if SHARK is going to cut and paste things or play reporter, then he should expect to get called out if he posts something bogus. If he is posting his opinions or opinions he heard somebody on the air say, he should expect to be called out if somebody thinks those opinions are crap.

I've tried to become a kinder, gentler poster in my SHARK critiques, but it hasn't been very effective. Like when he had some post a few weeks ago where he was like "guys, I had NOTHING to do with this decision" or whatever, I explained that every post he reads is not necessarily directed at him, personally, and that to always respond as if it is can be just as unbecoming as responding to every question someone asks in a semi-crowded room. I thought that was useful, especially because I've been an idiot like that in real life myself. Apparently he just did it again with the CBS Sports thing. Back to the drawing board.

I do have him on ignore but also have a habit of not logging in (to any board) unless I'm going to post something. In the past it was easy to just flat out ignore him and scroll past his posts without reading them but when nearly every other post in a B&B thread is from him it makes it harder to ignore them.

I know people were ripping on Mini Ditka and Firefox for the content and frequency of their posts but I rarely clicked their threads so it wasn't an issue for me, and if they did post in one I happened to be reading they didn't seem to post an unusual number of times.

If it's a gimmick, it's stale. If it's not...I just don't see the point. If the info. were being posted in response to a legitimate question someone had asked it would at least make sense.
