It didn't stop Les Grobstein from discussing what turns out to be a non-story after the Cowboys' big road win over the Giants.

I tried to find the story on bleacherreport.com, and it was removed. Yet it didn't stop the Grobber & producer Herb Lawrence from bringing up the A.J. Pierzynski story during the 11P hour when "SCORE Overnight" started.

As for Laurence, what's with him screaming "LET'S GO!" at the start of his evening show now? Can we get the guy a little decaf, too?

Mully and Hanley keep playing a segment from the White Sox postgame show where Rongey tells a caller that he can neither confirm nor deny the A.J. PED rumor.

I have no idea why they think this uninformative exchange merits multiple listens.

I'd be interest to see Laurence "stand up" and do the right thing:

Give the AJ PED story proper closure and explain why they never ran with it in the first place (and apologize for letting that caller get on the air to help fuel the fire to the rumor.)

Still would love to see AJ and Urlacher beat the hell out of him anyway.
