Raiders -2.5

So the Raiders are a west coast team coming across country to play an early game on the east coast...after a late MNF no less. This would seem to be the perfect time to grab the Dolphins for one of their only wins of the year. The Dolphins looked good for about 20 minutes last week against the high powered Texans on the road. Surely they have enough to beat the lowly Raiders.

I say no. Raiders had everything going against them last weekend. Their top two WR were out. There long snapper went tits up in the middle of the game. The Chargers played on a 40 yard field the whole night. They fought through all that adversity to keep the game against the Chargers relatively tight. I think we see what is a decent offensive and defensive team come to life this week. Those WR are back and should prevent any stacking of the line that occurred against Mc Fadden in Week 1. Foster had his way with the Dolphins last week. I expect Mc Fadden to do the same.

I hope to have learned my lesson for the year about road favorites and west coast favorites playing noon games on the east coast. I probably did not.

I did finish 3-3 on the day in my personal life with wins on Texans, Seahawks and 49ers as well as bad losses on Vikings, Raiders and Redskins. I think I fell for a bunch of traps nad was way to in line with the public.
