I disagree. I believe Sox fans are more like that than Cub fans.

Who cares, either way?

I disagree with that. Just look at both forums on this site as a barometer.

Who cares, either way?

It went three pages, so obviously somebody does. You went so far as to call me a hater for suggesting LaHair isn't Miguel Cabrera.

I did nothing of the sort.

You bumped this thread to "prove" LaHair's numbers were regressing (As EVERYONE in the thread said they would) and I said "Quit Hatin"

It was a journeyman having a good run. You were indeed hating that.

No one in this thread said anything other than "Nice start, wont last"

It seems you're arguing with no one.

And the worst part is you deem yourself a "realist" because you foresaw a career journey man with a 1 OPS regressing. But everyone in the thread predicted that, so how does that make you a realist?

And here you are bumping the thread 4 months later. So Im not so sure about Cub fans caring more thing.

Uh yeah, that kinda proves my point.

That was a response to the 3 posts you made over that weekend ripping LaHair and acting like you're a baseball expert for predicting his downfall.

YOu were hating.

OH and here is EVERYONE in the thread

Bryan, you called me a hater for making a perfectly logical statement. That is a fact. A fact that you then denied, even though it was clear for all to see.

Again, I'm sorry that I wasted my time making any type of comment regarding the Cubs.

No, that is a lie. I called you a hater because of the 3 posts you made that weekend ripping LaHair.

And here you are 4 months later bumping it and disagreeing with a bunch of non existant LaHair fans.

Sorry dude, Im not Elmhurst Steve or Chas.

Everyone in the thread knew LaHair would fall back, but you are calling yourself a "realist" for something literally everyone in the thread said.

Those are the facts and they are indisputable.

And you cant help yourself but comment about the cubs. I know it sucks when someone calls you out but I didnt bump this thread.

You post in the Sox forum FAR MORE than I post in the Cubs forum.

You called me a hater, and then denied it. Facts are indisputable. Just admit that you said it, and it was a silly thing to say.

Another lie.

I called you a hater for the 3 posts you made over the weekend hating.

BTW, Ill ask a third time. Who are you arguing with? Who is this big LaHair fan you speak of?

Second part of question: Why do you consider yourself a "realist" when every other person in the thread shared the same opinion?

Im sorry that you posted that Hawk was one of the top 41 announcers and no one cared. Im sorry that even SHARK was quick to point out that Tim Macgarver was a former winner.

Yes, I post in many sections. But I dont hate the Sox nearly as much as you do the cubs. (At least according to your posts here)

Not hatin. If he puts up the numbers that I predict, then he had a pretty good season. It's a pretty safe bet to say that he won't end the year with an OPS over 1.100.

My God, I'm such a hater.

Bryan, if you won't even admit to saying what everybody can see that you said, then there is no point in continuing this.

Oh look!! Chus is pulling a Chaz and not answering questions because they destroy his argument. Thats a little ironic.

I never denied calling you a hater. You mistakenly attribute it to one post, Ive explained many times that it was monday and I was responding to your 3 posts over the weekend. You ignore that because its true and kills your argument

Again, you are not a realist. You are a guy who likes to pretend youre a realist for pointing out Ultra obvious things that everyone agrees on.

No one in this thread predicted anything but regression for LaHair

Yes. That is hating.

Posting against a strawman who is constructing a cooperstown wing for LaHair is hating, IMO

Nothing to do with the numbers you posted. It was the continued hang wringiing over LaHair. That was hating, quite obviously

Its right there in your quotes, "He wont end the season with a 1.100 OPS"

No one said he did. Arguing against no one.

The only thing that you have destroyed is your credibility. I made some simple predictions in response to a ridiculous article, and then bumped it. Your response was to jump down my throat, and go on the attack. But, of course, I am the hater.

I didn't attack the Cubs, nor did I attack you, as evidenced by the four posts that I made. Posts that seem to have angered you. For some reason you have some personal stake in this.

Yeah, no one said LaHair would do anything but regress.

We're all "realists" I guess.

And dont talk about credibility when you refuse to answer questions, argue against no one and promote beina a Ford Frick award finalist as some sort of great accomplishment.

Everyone can see what you did here. And what happens to you when someone with a brain (Not the two slow guys you pick on here) challenges you.

Still waiting on that LaHair fan list

Some of us are.

What question did I duck?

I posted that Ford Frick stuff because many here proclaimed Hawk to be the absolute worst broadcaster, hands down. I guess when a GQ or AOL article supports your stance, then it's gospel. If the Ford Frick voting tells a different story, then you must discredit it.

I bumped a post of mine, and you took a personal stake in it, and attacked me for it. You are right, everybody can see that.

How about you? You were the only one who took offense at what I said.

I just posted my thoughts about a ridiculous article, and that is exactly what it was, a ridiculous article. I'm still trying to figure out why you told me to "quit hatin". I don't know what was so wrong, or controversial about my initial posts in this thread, and why you felt the need to muscle up on me.

Well, you kept posting in this thread about it. I kinda had the thought "Let it go, man"

It was a career minor leaguer having a great stretch and getting some recognition. That's a great baseball story. To keep posting that he was dropping or will drop seems to be "hating" to me

And I dont think its ridiculous. Every time there is a City all star team in this town there is questionalbe calls based on a small sample size. Also, its an article that people are referencing months later.

Anyway, Im glad we can all agree that Rizzo is by far the best first baseman on earth.

I think Chus was hating on Phil Rogers more than the Cub contingent here at CSFMB. Phil Rogers wrote a stupid article (GASP!) and it pissed off Sox fans.
