Huge--Now that summer is heating up, how about devoting a few shows to the HUGE intramural Jarts competition taking place on the campus of Central Michigan University? There are some fierce battles over there, and the preparation for the weekly battles is top notch. If you don't believe me, take a look at this HUGE tribute to Jarts outside the campus's Rose Center:

Image

Getting in early on the Jarts craze could be a HUGE break for you. But if you don't feel like heading all the way over to Mt. Pleasant, maybe you could focus on some of the backyard badminton games going on now across Grand Rapids. There are some HUGE sibling rivalries developing in the elementary school age bracket. I'm sure your listener would love to hear about them!!

Jeebus, I wandered into the "Plugs, etc. " section for the first time today and found this thread. I'm blaming this on my HUGE lack of production at work today.

Is there really a web site with a guy doing a show?

The only contact I've had with HUGE was when he asked if I was a chick, and then tried to woo me with leather bound books or something.

But I must admit, I'm hooked now.

:D

Lest we forget the Sammy Sosa sneeze....or the Bob Howry grill moving....or George Brett with issues that required surgery on his rear..or Marty Cordova falling asleep in a tanning bed and being driected to not be in the sun for a number of days...or Adam Eaton slicing his stomach with a paring knife while trying to open a new dvd or the Jacksonville punter who decided to swing the axe and took it in the leg

Those are actually outside of the Student Activity Center, known to those in the know as the SAC. Good memories and I was in Mt. P last weekend. Good times, no HUGE sightings.

The fact that you find this thread even moderately entertaining makes it all worth while. I look forward to more of your feedback as this place has really turned into a sausage fest lately. On a side note, I'll be in Chicago this weekend for the Rampage/Rush game. There's a great little Italian place my friend has been telling me about. Olive Garden, I think it's called. Half of you're meal will be on the HUGE ONE. That's how I roll.

Wow, I've heard of that place...I think you can get all you can eat breadsticks and salad with your meal. That's HUGE!!

Sorry, but I don't go to the Olive Garden for real Italian, and I don't eat my gravy out of a jar.

Just ran across this article

PAW PAW, Mich. - A man was taken on a wild ride when his wheelchair became lodged in the grille of a semitrailer and was accidentally pushed down a highway for four miles at about 50 mph, authorities said.

The 21-year-old man, whose name was not released, was unharmed but was taken to a hospital as a precaution. He had been secured to his wheelchair by a seat belt.

“The man spilled his soda pop, but he wasn’t upset,” said Sgt. Kathy Morton of the Michigan State Police.

You should get wheelchair boy on the show during your unplugged hour and ask him was it fun getting pushed by that HUGE semitrailer

And so goes the first paragraph of the script for Jackass 3.

Saw that on the news last night the picture of the kid strapped in and stuck in the grille was amazing. It was one of those modified chairs like Stephen Hawking has, not your run of the mill hospital chair. What a ride that would be.

I had such large expectations for this thread after I became one of the converted. Now I am greatly disappointed over the lack of new, fresh material.

Listen NSJ, if you are a true convert, you don't have large expectations. You have HUGE expectations.

HUGE is like the Great Pumpkin. If you disrespect him, he will not come.
