I think part of the problem too is we're paying for kids to get degrees in things like Advanced Cubs Outfield Theory that have nothing to do with getting a job!

If you think a kid that is getting a government subsidized scholarship is majoring in something stupid, you really don't understand how those scholarships work. There is monitoring in place to make sure they are getting a real education, not majoring in atari theory.

If kids are going on their parent's dime and butt chugging, so be it...they have to answer to their parents. Not you....or I mean your daddy.

Also, when you want to shit on government spending money, make sure you remember that our tax dollars are paying for George Ryan's defense, too, you partisan mouthbreathing lemming.

Advanced Cubs OUtfield Theory was a joke. But some of the other degrees are crazy.


Actually I thought George Ryan's attorneys took little or no money for his defense but I could be getting him confused with someone else.

Nobody who votes democrat in this state can say anthing about republican voters. Your party has had complete control for 10 years and have destroyed it by themselves. Mike Madigan is all I have to say. The man is so crooked he pees in the toilet to the left of him.

I also think the colleges are charging way too much money.

Music.

I'm currently back in school because I was someone who got a feel good degree that I need a masters to get a good job in.

I learned the hard way minor in an interest. Major in a career. My minor was actually meteorology because weather has always fascinated me.

I should explain part of my frustration is talking to some people who have kids who can't get any help paying for college and they and/or their parents are going to be going knee deep in debt to pay for it.

One interesting thing is people I know who are now deciding whether it would be better to take out a mortgage or take out regular loans for their daughter's education. Their house is paid for.
