Hottest grandmother EVER! Hopefully she will be naked and on all fours again this season. That was definitely the highlight of the show to this point. I still have an erection.

Where can I watch this online? I no longer get HBO, and you can't watch it online.

They left the door into Harrow maybe going back to Nucky. He may need Richard to take out Rosetti.

I don't think that will happen for a while though. I see Margaret siccing Owen on one of the doctors before the end of the season. It will probably be the younger one and she'll probably bang him before she wants him killed.

It seems like they're trying to keep it reasonably historical so that probably won't happen.

I see what you're saying, but a lot of those characters don't even exist. That is why i would think that.

True. I know it's fictionalized and I guess they could do whatever they want, but so far they've kept the major story arcs of the historical figures fairly true to life. I'm guessing that if the show makes it to the end of Prohibition, Nucky ends up in the pen.

I think that's one of the reasons I'm skeptical about this season so far. There's a limited amount of appeal for a main arc involving Nucky going up against a fictionalized hothead.

YES! Don't give me the "based on a true story" stuff, when this guy didn't exist.

Who is the fictional character? Rosetti? ...I imagine Thompson steers clear of the joint and comes out on top...believe he died when he was like 90 something...and the show is based loosely on his life...I see a resemblance from one of the new whores and JD's old lady(who Richard was sweet on) my prediction the new whore who looks like JD's wife will hook up with richard.

I would look for the Chicago storyline to heat up soon, at least I hope so for the sake of the show. Capone has been
underutilized thus far.

Good episode last night. I like the direction things are going in NYC with Luciano and the
Italians. The Chicago storyline heated up quite a bit with Capone going apeshit. Nucky
almost gets pinched or killed but escapes as usual, but I must say he has a real edge this
season so far. He isn't taking shit from anybody and pulling the trigger himself if needed.
Looks like Eli is going to be running the show with the liquor distributing as I have to assume
Nucky isn't going to be very happy with Doyle and will likely off that little weasel. Previews
for next week continue to look good with Chalky and his boys getting into the mix and a
merge with Rosetti and Rothstein.

This season has been the best season by far. Really thought this show was going down the drain after the abysmal season 2 and the axing of who I thought was the main character, but it ended up being genius getting rid of that guy. Taking the sole focus of New Jersey and bringing the far more interesting historical characters of Chicago and New York into the spotlight has really saved the show.

I feel the same way. I was pissed when Darmody got it, but it's been great for the show.

I was really losing interest in this season until tonight's episode kicked things into gear. Really excellent cinematography throughout this episode as well, especially the overhead of Rosetti discovering the aftermath of the hit.

That "greenhorn Jewish kid" is Bugsy Siegel. I figure Lansky thought he was capable.

Yeah but I get what Q is saying.

Although maybe he was sent because he was such a nobody at that time.

Eddie's line to Billie before rehearsal was nice.

Loving this season so far.

Great tension, the writing is exceptional and the pacing is pretty good with it being a tad slow at first but builds quite nicely.

I am really enjoying it.

You're so right about this. She's the archetypical two-face. Sometimes, I'll swear she's gorgeous, but most the time she's plain as hell.

The look on his face and immediate verbal reaction of O'Banion when NVA walked into the shop and said what he said was the best part of the episode - I had to rewind it like 3 times! Damn, there are some good actors and writers involved in this series.

Hey! It's the iron-man. I bet you have some pressing business.

George: She's a two face.
Jerry: Like the Batman villain?
George: If that helps you.

What I don't understand with this whole Nucky/Rozetti feud is the fact that it could all be avoided if Nucky's crew just had another truck along in their caravan that just carried gas. That way they wouldn't have to stop in that small town that Rozetti now controls. They could just gas up their cars on the road either before or after the small town and avoid any shootouts. Problem solved. I should have been a bootlegger.

See, you can tell McNeil doesn't watch Boardwalk Empire, otherwise that would definitely have been the lead on a Bearsless Monday.

The jerrycan wasn't invented until the 30s.

Seriously, my grandfather owned a gas station around 2000 S. Wabash in that time frame. He said that when bootleggers came in to fill up they would say, "Fill her up 'til it runs on the ground." Apparently running out of fuel on a whiskey run was a common fear/problem.

Well then, they should have just bought themselves a fuel truck. Surely those existed back then. How else was gas delivered to stations?

I don't know. But I once had a business partner who liked to say, "You'd be surprised at the things that escape otherwise intelligent men." That may just be the simple answer.

Just another ok episode. That stupid Margaret at the end.... That Gillian Darmody is a freak
of the highest order. I hope that Richard is able to cultivate some kind of relationship with
that young woman but not sure he has that kind of game.

Next week looks really good
