Ya, I would rather stream Goff's new station and hear his show over hearing the princess pissypants spiegel show. I even tune in the cleveland espn affiliate to hear some browns and indians talk over having to hear some of the crap that has been on the score during the morning and mid-day hours. Bitching about Mike Holmgren beats parody songs everyday.

I lived in Atlanta for a year and their sports radio wasn't as bad as most people would like to think. I don't care for any of their teams but it was still entertaining. The best part is that it was in the south and they rarely talked SEC football which makes for awful awful radio.

Sucks, he added a different element to the afternoon show. But good for him! I hope he does come back some day! So when they were talking about him moving the other day was this is what they were talking about?

He brought a different element to the entire station. Goff may not consider it a compliment but he is a link to the golden era of the Score both in presence, content and tone. He is more pappy than bernstein, and I mean that in the best sense. I would recommend he embrace that reality in his future show rather than try to mimick someone who he is not. North at his height was FAR more of a ratings draw than B and B could ever hope to be. You don't have to go full meatball to be a populist. Bernstien's popularity was in him being different from the rest of the North era Score. I think there is room for a similar shift in the near future of the station as it transitions out of B and B.
