I know. I've only recently seen most of The Hustler, and I've never sat though The Color of Money (if that even counts here) exceppt the scenes in Chris's Billiards on Milwaukee. And I make my own salad dressing.

I refused to see it just because all of the hype. I got the premise and I already saw Disney's Pocahontas as a child. No need to sit thru an even longer version.

This. Add to that Schindler's List, Gone With The Wind, Rebel Without A Cause, Citizen Kane, and Porky's 2.

Yep. Exactly why I passed on the all blue people movie. Also felt the same way about Borat (from repeatedly hearing it's the funniest movie ever), until I watched it. Love me some Borat.

Schindlers list is a masterful work and a great movie, a must see.

I've seen a few minutes of these here and there TV, but never seen them all the way thru.

Why would you ever watch V or VI, but never watch the other ones that are actually decent?
I take that back, had my numbers mixed up...I don't know how many there are anyway.
I have seen the first one and the most recent one called Rocky Balboa. I haven't seen any of the middle ones.

2 is awesome and 3 and 4 are good

The only real turd in the Rocky saga is Rocky V. I had low expectations for Rocky Balboa, but found it really good and even poignant at times. I'd rate them Rocky, Rocky II, Rocky III, Rocky Balboa, Rocky IV, then way down the list Rocky V.

well, rocky 3 & 4 are "fun bad". entertaining for sure. II is legit good. V is legit bad. So...yeah I still haven't seen VI.

"godfather 3" is not that bad. it just pales in comparison with 1 & 2 and it's one of those "It's easier to just say it sucks than to break it down and give it some credit" movies. 2 is the best because it fleshes so much out of the characters.

i've never seen all of "mr. smith goes to washington" and i don't really think i need to at this point. same with the original "king kong", "dracula" and "the magnificent ambersons" (although that i still will try to see).

I like it but I see where you're coming from. Especially the second half. His rise to power is cool. Him sniffing himself into suicidal paranoia is not.

"schindler's list" is a very hard movie to watch, and really, if you've visited a holocaust museum, you've pretty much experienced the same thing.

unless of course, you make out through it.

Read the book,it is even more moving. The way he was treated after the war by us was criminal.

 @ the Seinfeld reference...true story: Schindler's List came out when I was in college, and we were poor, and we were stoners, so I made tuna salad sandwiches and passed them out amongst our friends during the movie (hey it wasn't a shell fish!).

I'm actually surprised that I've seen most of the movies y'all haven't. Weird, I'm always the one who hasn't seen a movie that people I know have. I have not seen Slapshot.

Boondock Saints
Good Will Hunting

Boondock Saints sucks. The documentary about its writer/director, Troy Murhpy, entitled "Overnight" is fantastic, however.

Boondock Saints is awesome and thought-provoking when you're 16 years old.
