That's still one of the better third basemen in the game. I'd sure take it on the South side. The Yankees have to weigh how much of that money they're willing to eat. This is a guy who was never really embraced by the New York fans and this latest postseason failure may make continuing in pinstripes untenable.

I agree. He still has value esp. given the dearth of quality third basemen. The Sox should step up and make a move there if the price in salary and players back to NY is negligible.
