He would drop dime and get J Hood back to the show. Give him a call, ask him to come back and lay a few mea culpas on Mitch and bring the show the street cred he so desperately desires.

Hood gets to re-build his stature.

The show might actually be funny again.

Terry can just be Terry until his paper runs out.

The only thing standing between this going down and greater success for both is YOUR ego danny.

Don't pretend you don't read the board.

Steal my idea.

Just get it done.

And perhaps Hoodies contract situation with MVP.

Perhaps you could think more positively?

I don't think he'd have the balls to orchestrate that and I don't think he'd take the risk on Hood.

They know each other well.

Hood is only a risk to his ego, nothing else.

Management that leads makes bold decisions.

Ignore the 'Poo Poo Artists', Seacrest, you're onto something here....something big.

Terry is finished and adds nothing but embarrassment and fake "Breaking News Stories." It's time for relatively fresh blood to save the show. Hood wasn't totally innocent of wrong-doing during his last stint at 670 but he was also totally screwed over and kicked down the stairs when Telendar was asked to host his own show.

If there is a way to do it, I hope the do it. Sure he may have some time on a contract left but that is probably only a few years if that.

Bold moves, Mitch, bold moves.

Brilliance that can't be bottled.

And I'm not sure Hood has a contract.

I will not.

I had this conversation years ago with the predecessor of Mitch. Told me it was a crazy idea.

How did your decision to go with Telander work out Paulie?

The only bold decision that Rosen has ever made was the decision to fire the show host with the highest ratings on WSCR, because another host went to Mitch crying like a baby to fire the guy. With the exception of this one bold (stupid) move, Mitch is a play-it-safe-take-no-risks Manager.

You could argue that giving Mac another shot and bringing in a guy who had been in LA for years was bold, but the other side of the coin is that he signed the most popular sports talk host in the city and brought in an established veteran to be his partner.

Drew Hayes shocked the pool a little bit when he took producers off the air and made Rozner/Rosenbloom/Bruce Wolf the new subs, but even that was just giving air time to established voices. Let's just admit that radio is the new newspaper.

The proper use of the colloquialism is to "drop a dime". It refers back to the days when a pay phone call only cost 10 cents, and it is usually used in the context of "ratting someone out".

If I were Bernsy, I'd go the Mike Francesa route and go solo. That's just me.

Not a pop culture reference.

No surprise that you were stumped.

I used to begin my talks with a lawyer joke, but I’ve given that up because I found that when I tell lawyer jokes to a mixed audience, the lawyers don’t think they’re funny. And the nonlawyers don’t think they’re jokes.

SWEET BURN, BRO!.

Where is the burn at exactly?

That quote is from a lawyer and taken with permission from a commencement speech he made.
