Something hit me at around 12:55 as I listened to Mac bitch and moan about having to do another disconnected, indifferent, halfhearted transition with B&B.

He's starting to sound a lot like under-medicated Mac about 2-3 weeks before Happy Camp absence.

Don't get me wrong, this is one of my favorite shows currently on the air. I truly enjoy Mac & Spiegs. But when I hear everyones favorite 12-stepper breaking the 4th wall and telling his audience point-blank he doesn't care about the next 30 minutes he's gonna be on the air, it's irks me.

Let's all hope he's properly tranquilized and we don't have any setbacks here. Maintain, DaMaNehh, MAINTAIN.

You can definitely tell that Mac is back to his old self (pre-recovery hiatus). I remember before his leave, he was seemingly annoyed with everyone and everything - sports talk sounded like a drag to him. Kind of sounds the same now. But then again, he's really only into the NFL and NHL, and since half of that goodness is missing, he's probably not feeling much spark. And then he gets to look forward to transitions with Bernstein.
