Yeah, Kerry Wood seems like he would be really boring. I don't know which job suits him less: color commentator, or pitching coach.

Brenly was awful to start but grew into it well and had a good thing going with Len. Still, I never felt like there was anything special about Bob Brenly doing Cubs games, like there was with Steve Stone. The fact that he just bailed on the Cubs and channel 9 to go call games for the D-bags on Fox Sports GitOuttaMahCountry affirms this.

Mark Grace might be okay. Rick Sutcliffe could be good. Better yet, flip Moreland to the TV booth and get another beloved cloudcuckoolander to sit with Pat. One like, hey, Mark Grace or Rick Sutcliffe.
