It will be Sutcliffe with Wood (or Hollandsworth or Otto)filling in when he has a national commitment. That's my prediction. They've wanted Sutcliffe for years.

I actually wouldn't mind Hollandsworth being given a shot.

Bob Scanlan is doing a good job in San Diego. MAybe he's a dark horse.

There are a few jerks I'd like to acknowledge right now. But i'd rather just name a band A Few Jerks. Hey hey.

I'm really going to miss Brenly. When I added the MLB package a few years ago, I realized just how good Len and Bob were as a team. My favorite Len and Bob moment of all time:

Len: Hunter Pence up to bat. Bob, Hunter hurt himself running through a glass door on the way to a hot tub. Did you ever run through any glass doors as a player?

Bob: I ran into a few glass doors, but I never went through any. But I was never as fast as Hunter Pence.

I learned quite a bit about baseball growing up from Steve Stone. He was my favorite broadcaster. Not interested. Keith Moreland? I'd rather read "conversation starting" mult posts. Kerry Wood has nothing to say. I think he knows he has nothing to say. Keep it. It's between Sutcliffe and Grace. Here's the question. Do you want a guy to get two D.U.I.'s on your watch, or get them while broadcasting for your team? I want Mark Grace.

Steve Stone is outstanding, but I heard him say he was going to return to the Sox next season. He said Reinsdorf asked him if he was going to return and he told him it was a no-brainer-yes, he would return. But if he can reconsider it, I would welcome him back. that said, Mark Grace works for me too. Wood was never so glib as to strike me as a natural for the job. As much as I like him, I would take Grace or Stone over him in the booth. Brenley was good, but maybe a change to Grace or Stone may well be an upgrade. I wish they could get them both and put Grace on radio in place of Moreland.

Following the Theo Epstein model, Brenly's replacement will be whoever is the backup for the backup for pre/posts on NESN. I think Cubs fans will really take to what we'll soon be calling The Len & Curtis Leskanic Show.

Dear God no. Dave Otto is horrible & Holly isn't much better. I would really like to see Stoney join Len, but I do believe Wood has the job already.

Sutcliffe's analysis is goddawful. I'm going to go out on a very short limb and suggest that Joe Carter was possibly the worst Cub color guy in recent memory.

I was thinking along similar, yet more proven lines- what was the name of the YESNetwork broadcaster who raved the about "Roger Clemens is in George's Box!!"? That Brooklyn accent is a powerful pheromone.

As the cross-town team is the only significant yardstick by which to measure success, and the Sox broadcast teams on both media define the term SUCK, I'm thinking the Cubs should consider the three-man booth again with Len, Don Zimmer and Ronnie Woo-Woo. That just might out suck the Sox broadcasters.....or not.

2013 season

Game 16

Dave Otto: "That slider was dirty"

Len Kasper: "Will you shut the fuck up with that already?...For the love of God,that all you got,Junior?"

I noticed that shiny head MF'r with the 3000.00 suit,Dave Kaplan has adopted that "dirty" shit, too.

ANNOYING!

There's a good chance he's going to do some time. The guy drove drunk in a different car after he had an Intoxalock installed. That's a big no-no.

I honestly hope it's no one currently affiliated with the organization. I'm sure Hollandsworth, Wood etc will be interested. Grace is going to be in jail, he's not getting it.

Sad news.

I guess this means Brenly is giving up on ever managing again. That's too bad he deserves another shot. He's definitely going to be missed in the Cubs broadcast booth. He helped make those games watchable the last few years. If K-Dub is hired he will be the new Hawk. YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD....YES!

I just hope they take this opportunity to stop doing the guest singing 7th inning stretch and subsequent interview. Just terrible stuff. Play some old recordings of Harry if you really want to keep the tradition going. I dont want to hear Jimmy Johnson or the 8th grade boys lacrosse champions from Manteno.

Why does it bother you so much? Sometimes it's funny. Sometimes it's the Fremd volleyball team. It's ultimately harmless.

I suppose it is the interviews that bother me more than the singing. I just want to watch the game not hear about the new line of BBQ sauce some pseudo celebrity is releasing.

The pace of baseball, unlike the other three team sports, allows for doing that promotional crap without compromising the integrity of the play-by-play. It's not like Pat Foley trying to call a game and indulge Bill Murray at the same time.

The stretch interviews can certainly be kind of dumb....but they are going to need all of th help they can get programming anything interesting to talk about with another 100 L team on the horizon.

Yeah but happens when all the pieces click in June and they are playing for a wild card in late September and we have to listen to Snooki talk about her new line of nipple cream for breast feeding mothers.

^_^ THIS ^_^

also, keep in mind that if it ends up being Bigfan's guy Kerry "Kid K" Wood </SHARK>, Dan Bernstein is entitled to have another "Kiss [my] ass Monday" in the wake of his reporting the much-ballyhooed personal-services-contract-in-a-drawer for The Cubbie Legend(tm)

For those who are new/school to the whole B&B thing>>> in 2005 the Beloved were starting an intrepid young neckbearded rookie who, like Andrew W.K. before him, loved to "PARTY HARD", Kyle "Hey, check out this picture of me chugging this fifth of Jack Daniels" Ort"Man" --- a move that resonated with the Scorehead demographic of Bears Fans despite Kyle's propensity to throw footballs 5 feet over the head of wide open receivers. B&B, like myself, were proponents of Rex Grossman because despite his small/ish stature and agility/athleticism left on the turf in Minnesota, in a perfect world he could technically make just about any NFL throw that you needed.

Near the end of the season, after halftime of an old fashioned "slobberknocker" with the Michael "Ron Mexico" Vick-led "Dirty Birds", aka the Atlanta "Home of Jason George "The Most Dangerous Producer in the "Sports Talk" World" Goff" " Falcons; the Chicago "Monsters of the Midway Bears were toiling offensively and trailing, compelling them to bring in Rex "RAX GRISSMAN" Grossman, who would go on to lead the Bears to victory on national television on a cold chilly Chicago night.

The result was B&B declaring their usual "Bears Monday" to be "Kiss our ass Monday", as the B&B show had just started to find its legs as a Fan/"Meatball" hating schtick-show, and they wanted to rile up "the mouthbreathers" to be compelled enough to call in and provide content for ~4 hours on a chilly December monday in Chicago.

Rex Grossman would go on to lead the Bears to Super Bowl XLI, where the lack of a pass rush anchored by Tank "Homey in the basement with an AK and a few pounds of dro in the freezer" Johnson combined with timely late interceptions doomed the Bears to lose to unrepentant assbag Peyton "You Don't Know Buick, Papa John! * pow * IT'S ON </fairy>" Manning, and Kyle Orton would go on to make the neckbeard once again fashionable amongst 36% of the Chicago Bears' fandom.

Boers and Bernstein would go on to groom Chicago's #1 sports talk radio host in 2020, Jason Goff, to be a night guy on a startup FM sports talk station in "Hot"lanta, home of the Randy "The NFL on CBS left me" Cross morning show.

SHARK would go on to win the pulitzer prize for his intrepid reporting on the CSFMB.

sinicalypse would go on to make long rambling posts that raised existential questions in the ~3 CSFMBers who actually read his posts.

The CSFMB would go on to eventually become the "minor leagues" for WSCR 670AM, THE SCORE, as it was eventually revealed that its user BearDown was indeed Mitch "SHAKE THAT" Rosen.

WSCR 670AM The Score would go on to eventually become the home of "Chicago's Very Own Mike and Mike morning show" featuring Mike "Don't Fade Me.com" North and Mike "I like to think of the 69 Cubs sudsing it up in the Shower" Murphy, whose Yellow "I'm actually anything but yellow, can you imagine the shit I've had scribbled on me?" Pad would be an integral part in becoming WSCR 670AM The Score's first show to get syndicated internationally, painting Chicago in such a light that when the New World Order Cyborg Zombie Reptilian/Alien Zionist Hostile Takeover Force eventually dominated the world through World Wars 3-5 and, of course, FEMA "Alex Jones TRIED TO WARN US" Death "Don't Call Me Laon" Camps --- they would declare Chicago as a neutral zone and open up to the chosen Goyim who were allowed to exist only because God "Jeez, are you gonna blame me for EVERYTHING!?!?" Shammgod wasn't only a Bears fan, but he was also a fan of the phenomenon known as "Chicago's Very Own Mike and Mike Morning Show"

God would go on to kick back, relax, and strap it down cuz He thought that despite all the bitchy losers, the world was pretty cool if you got your head out of your ass and lived a little bit.

HEYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH

SINCERELY,

# THREADKILLA IN THE FLESH, ON THE NET, AND IN YOUR GODDAMN THREAD.
