Why the hell would you trade someone coming off a 100 RBI season with only 2 years left on his deal for the most washed up player in professional sports with 5 years left on his deal.

Surely. But who would even consider such a terrible deal. The only contract in MLB worse than A-Rod's is Pujols.

Or maybe Fielder...I have to think all the tonnage will eventually blow out his knees and/or ankles.

If the Yanks paid all of A-Rod's contract, and some of Alfonso's I would do this.

As someone on here who has ripped Soriano,I have to praise him for making himself a better outfielder besides putting up great stats on a terrible team.
In 2013,Jeff Keppinger should be the Cubs 3rd sacker.

Hey,I like Luis. I think he can do better than .224. I watch him at the plate and he just looks like a ML hitter. I like his swing. I want him back. I have always liked Keppinger. I wanted him BEFORE the rebuild.

Dey should tink about movin' dat Arod guy to da Cubs and he can play short. Dat Castro kid can't play short, he should play second.
