In lieu of a preview, I present this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBPtRj0pRxQ

With lines like "Chef Boyardee is gonna call me back later today," I hope someone at the station finds this video and has some fun with it. But of course, no one there reads the board.

Here's the Gay Plan for today's show:
Quote:
Code:
[list][*]* 1:04 - Pretending to care what Matt Spiegel thinks about anything
* 2:45 - The snot-nosed bitch-ass Melman kids because we haven't suffered enough
* 3:30 - The Second Half
* 4:30 - Brian Billick to talk about a game he'll be calling that isn't a Bears game CUZ BABY WE GOT MOOSE, GOOSE, AND KENNYALBERTOOSE
* 5:00 - Who You Crappin'? starring Mr. Mouth, Gary from Evanston, and someone who can't spit a cogent thought out and gets shotgunned

Updates: Connor McDoink
Producers: MATTY and a revolving door of dudes[/list]

I feel like I treat the entire 9-1 show as they treat the 1:04 segment.

Wait, the Melmans were on yesterday - can't be on again today can they? Can they?? One of the all time worst segments on B&B.

And speaking of that revolving door, any update on who's going to be the new Goff? I assumed Herb, so he can cut that bitch off as freely as J did, but seems like Herb's been doing Loho's shitfest. Tannehill perhaps?

Jason said he lobbied and/or hoped for a black guy. Chris Tannehill is not black, though I thought for years that he was.

And no, I don't think the Melmanlings will be on again. Just kidding. But man, that segment is worse than Matt Bowen breaking down an all-22 of Gerry DiNardo and Brian Billick asking questions of Hub Arkush.

"So what do you have at Hub 51?"
"Well, we have some Mexican, some American, some pan-Asian, some seafood, really a little of everything."

Congratulations, you've described every Greek coffee shop I've ever been to in the northwest suburbs. I bet it's really irreverent and hip, though!!!!!!!

Can anyone explain the point of this column? As best I can tell, he seems to be sayin "The Bulls arent good enough to win a title this year, and who knows if they will be good enough in a year or two, and Thibs wins too many regular season games so maybe the Bulls should get a new coach." It's rambling, nonsensical bullshit basically.

Most of columns are similar to those columns/writers that he degrades and pisses on while on the air.

His just have some dressed up verbiage.

The Bulls should suspend operations indefinitely. What's the point of going on?

He's backed himself into corner and gone all in on his ridiculous and stupid line of thinking. Every time he writes one of these self-masturbatory and shit brained "columns" or goes on some nonsensical rant he makes a fool of himself.

"Winning rings is all that matters!" Well, Dan, what do you need to do to get in a position to play for a ring?

Sanctimonious douchebaggery, as most of his columns are. Bernstein was just saying last week that the Bulls were surprisingly entertaining to watch, and would be better than most people thought, which actually surprised me as it was off his "how does that get them closer to a championship" mantra. Print Dan and on air Dan need to have a meeting of the minds.

It's truly ridiculous that the Score now thinks that all their hosts also qualify as columnists.

I'm 100% certain he would've told the Mavs to blow it up in 2011 if his show was based in Dallas, with reasons like "You'll never win a ring while starting DeShawn Stevenson at SG!" and "Rick Carlise is only a regular season coach. Gotta get Phil or Larry Brown in here to take this team to a title. Big. Boy. Coaching."

Wow. That one is painful.

Wasn't THAT bad. I mean, at least it doesn't fold in on itself and forget which metaphor it was making.

Quote:
We can still anticipate watching the Bulls this year, even if we can’t quite see them.

Pretty sure this is a blatant misuse of "anticipate," unless Dan is saying we can still appropriately prepare ourselves for the inevitability of...watching Bulls games, I guess. It doesn't mean "look forward to." The proper term for that is "look forward to."

The American Heritage Dictionary disagrees...
an·tic·i·pate (n-ts-pt) KEY
VERB:
an·tic·i·pat·ed, an·tic·i·pat·ing, an·tic·i·pates
VERB:
tr.
1. To feel or realize beforehand; foresee: hadn't anticipated the crowds at the zoo.
2. To look forward to, especially with pleasure; expect: anticipated a pleasant hike in the country.

They weren’t beating Miami last year, even with Rose healthy. Even if the most optimistic scenario has him back on the court in January at full speed, the Bulls’ title window will only have reopened if his ACL rehab also made him 6-8, and 240 pounds.
