If you've ever played Tecmo Bowl (and I'm sure most of you have), you'll want to check out the newest episode of NFL Films Presents. The show takes a trip down memory lane and pays tribute to the popular video game. Tecmo legend Christian Okoye, who made two Pro Bowls as a running back with the Chiefs, even plays for the first time ever. The show airs on the NFL Network Friday at 4:30 p.m. and Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Tecmobowl.org has an updated rom with this years rosters. Download the nestopia emulator and away we go!!

Been playing as the Bears. Cutler isn't as gunslingery as expected. Forte and Marshall are great. Hester is fast, but I expected him to be at the top end of the speed scale. The o-line sucks. Expect games vs. 49ers and Lions to have their D-line blowing up lance lewis and chasing Cutler down.

Urlacher can run wild, but the secondary is sub-par. Those bastards rarely get INT's. I did get a team to throw to the RB in the endzone for the 0 yard pick 6. That was awesome. Also able to get TD's on both punt and kickoff, but it took lots of trying.
I'd say the best team in the game is the Niners. Frank Gore and the defense make for a tough go.

Everyone remembers Bo Jackson's ridiculousness in Tecmo Super Bowl, but I always loved how Cap Boso would catch everything you threw at him with one play in the first game.

When I heard the various Tecmo noises, I started to smile. Great memories.

I think Mort should get his own show. He could call it "The Hour of the People". Mort struck me as a guy that would give it good to any girl that walked his way. They just didn't even know it.
