Hey Kid, do you have any more clips from semi-historic Chicago sports days? I didnt look through all of them yet, but Im thinking like when the Bulls won the draft lottery or when they drafted Rose, when the Sox won the WS, Bears 2006 SB run, etc? Of those you listed, I do have the day after the WS win in 2005. I believe I have the day after the Cubs lost Game 7 to the Marlins as well. Both are on audio tape though, so I'd have to convert them.

From the tone of Bernsie's voice when he said "yes we know who texted him" and that Spada jumped on here right away to start a thread congratulating himself for it, I'm gonna assume that more than one txt was sent to the station trying to get on air credit. Spada's the little boy who wants so bad to be a big boy sports radio guy, except he's like 40. And all the real sports radio people this side of Pappy don't like him.

and he has a law practice that he has to manage which doesn't leave him in the familiar position of most looking for a radio career of having no other options...the guy is living out his dream and I applaud him

Speaking of creeps....I asked a legitimate question. Spada answered. Given that Spada has clearly had no love for WSCR and this show it seemed a reasonable question. I am not an insider and other than posts by spmack and OKC have no real idea how the guys in the booth and on the other side of the glass work. Did they have a hotline for big shooters like Spada? Does he just text in like hundreds of others?

Additionally, All Information is alleged and 100% Unreliable. Therefore, a follow up question in this forum is reasonable. I do agree that a tip of the cap to whomever provided the get deserved a nod even if the guy who provided it hasn't been a "fan of the shoowww".

What are you talking about? What I'm saying is that, in real time, drinky came on the air to "confirm" that they had verified (with the person who had texted Fred to call in) it was indeed Fred. The assumption has to be that they confirmed it with Spada....right? So he knew, and just said "we confirmed it" not "former/current(?) Score advertiser David Spada actually got him to call in". OR, I guess, Spada did get him to call in but drinky confirmed it with someone other than the guy that actually got him to call. That's my beef...give the ambulance chaser credit where/when it's due, B&B production staff.

Why would they promote a former sponsor?
