This was my guess as well. Not the most exciting episode but next week does look good. Still not sure Herschel
is going to hang in there long term with his bloody stump. I thought something was going to happen with Rick
took the handcuffs off him.

Good episode and a great season thus far. I like how the writers/show is aware of the fact that Lori is a piece of shit, a bad wife, a bad mother and that she knows it and freely admits it to Rick. That makes her character more easy to stomach as compared to last year.

Rick and his machete action, attitude, demeanor etc all make sense and his actions thus far totally back those up. He doesn't take shit, he will kill to protect and he doesn't trust anyone, it shows how much his character has truly changed from last season and that the speech he made in the finale wasn't just bullshit. I'm loving the season.

FF, that T-Dog look during the prisoners dumbass attack on the zombies was hilarious and I think that the black guy w/ the baseball bat that took off was a funny scene as well. Rick chases him, he gets outside and is like, "Oh fuck, Zombies!", Rick follows him out sees the prisoner, looks at the walkers and is like, "Well fuck this, see you later, dude!" Locks the door and utters "You better run." Awesome. The contrast between the idiot, helpful Rick that saved that gunmen in town from last season is very, very stark. Whatever the writers are doing to right the ship and make last season make more sense and more complete, they need to keep doing it.

Oh, and fuck Lori for yelling at Carl. He saves the day with medical supplies and she admonishes him in front of everybody. Humiliating your soon in front of his crush and other group members is not good parenting, especially when your son already hates you because you suck. I like Carl this season, less of a bitch, wants to get his fuck on and shoots to kill.

I think the last scene showed that he is crazy, but throughout the episode I got an Orwelling "1984" vibe from the whole place. I didn't particularly like this episode in comparison with most of them but I understand why it was necessary.

I liked the episode as I tend to enjoy the whole "how is civilization thriving" angle in most zombie stories. As far as the heads thing at the end, a spoiler-search will explain it more.

I loved the episode. just read about the heads in the tanks and really don't grasp the meaning.

This was the first episode I have seen since early last year. I liked it. The production value of the show is much higher than when I last watched. I know I have missed out on a lot of story but I don't feel I've missed out on the broad themes.

I still fucking hate Andrea with her stupid fake tough girl walk while getting her ass kicked in just about every confrontation and looking like she is going to cry whenever someone looks at her the wrong way.

I'm not a big fan of samurai girl so far. Her character might be cool but so far the actress has just sat around scowling at people. I have always despised Andrea based on what Dolphin outlined above. Right now I really dont care if either character lives or dies, that is a bad thing in a show about zombies. Especially since that whole Governor story line seems much more interesting then the prison story.

It's been 3 episodes and one of them devoted entirely to her storyline. She is as much of a mystery as she was before. I know more about the heads in the fish tanks than her. She could get eaten next episode and I would care about as much as I did when Rick killed the new prisoners.

Which episode was devoted entirely to her? And how could that be when you said she remains as much a mystery as before? Maybe it's because I've read the spoilers thread, but I'm eagerly anticipating Michonne's character development.
