Last night's episode was all the Governor storyline. You didnt see Rick or any of the old crew at all. All she did was scowl and say "We want our weapons back." You need to care about characters in a show like this otherwise why do you care if they survive... Maybe the comics do a better job of it.

She was a counterbalance to Andrea's enthusiasm about The Governor and Woodbury.

Yeah and it was boring, feed her to the fish tank heads.

So obviously she is awesome in the comics, judging by the repsonses so far. Just not so much right now in the show.

She could have curbed Andrea's enthusiasm by doing more than scowling and repeating the same line over and over. Obviously she is right about Woodbury being a fucked up place, how can she convince andrea of that by sitting around and not speaking???

I like to be entertained. If they are going to not show Rick's group at all for an entire episode, I better learn more about the other new character. All we got was more Andrea bullshit. We already know her lame ass angle.

I know where this is all coming from, I havent read the books so I need to wait for the OMG this is AWESOME!!! That's fine, I'm sure it will be but dont tell me that the new samurai chick is a good character now based on what we have seen.

Maybe you're just a little impatient. I don't hate episodes like this. Breaking Bad had a similar one this past season as well. On the whole, it works. Just tough it out, HS.

I made it through one and half seasons then gave up. So I'm with you there.

You're still okay in my book. Seriously, BB is amazing TV. You'll be hooked. Sign up for Netflix, and you can bang out the first four seasons in a month for $8.

Obviously I'm a huge fan of the comics so I'm a huge fan of Michonne, but looking at it objectively I can see where someone could come away from last night's episode with a WTF attitude toward Michonne. She pretty much just sat there scowling the entire episode. If you don't already know what to expect from her and how her trip to Woodbury turned out in the comics I could see how that would be slightly off putting.


But, that said, this is one of the best shows on tv and if you've watched up to this point and aren't ready to give the producers the benefit of the doubt and show some patience when it comes to character development then you're being ridiculous and honestly don't deserve to continue watching the show.

I didnt think that Shakes of all people would see what I was saying. I thought you would be leading the charge against my opinion.

I'm certainly going to keep watching and see what happens. Even if they dont do anything with that character, you can tell the whole Governor thing is going to be pretty badass.

Love this show. Hadnt watched it, but caught up on all three seasons in about a week On Demand. The one thing I cant figure out is why they didnt dig a large trench around the farm. Zombies fall in, get killed, problem over, group gang bang with Maggie.
