That drives me nuts, yarrrrgh. When somebody leaves a message of "call me back". Giving a reason of why you called will greatly increase your chances of an immediate response. Or the message may cement one not calling you back at all. Hence why no message is left in the first place. Fucking douchebags.

i concur. my parents will do this to me all the time. "I need to talk to you, call me back." don't fucking do that! tell me why you're calling...you can sum it up or just say "It's not urgent I just want to tell you something or ask you something".

My dad did that to me. He sounded like something was wrong, but when I called back, he was like "I was just seeing how you was doin'". WTF! Why not just say that in the god damn message?

My mom is like this. The house and car could be on fire and she'd say "Just call me back soon" but the problem could be she can't find her socks and it will be the end of the world.

I'm a bad message person. Sometimes I call hoping to get the vm but I still am unprepared.

What used to drive me even more nuts than a vague message was the guy I worked with would call a customer to tell them their vehicle was ready for pickup, get the machine, then leave no message. "I don't know how to work those things, and I'll just call them again, later" That's why they have the machine, you idiot, so you don't have to call back..it tells you how to do it, speak your message after the freakin' beep!
