Is it the best boxing movie, the best con man movie or just the best movie of all time? Your thoughts?

I'm bored as hell...

Still never seen it. I'm surprised I haven't in all this time.

You can't con a con artist...

It's a highly underrated movie, in that I have not seen in it ten years and never thought I'd see a thread on it ever...
It's really good.

It's got a lot of great little one liners. Plus you get James Woods, Bruce Dern, Louis Gossett Jr and Oliver Platt. It really should have been a box office smash.

No, you can't hustle a hustler. Especially when he's better than you.

I thought Louis Gossett Jr. kicked major ass in Iron Eagles. I have not seen thiss movie but was
aware of it.

It's a good hustler movie. I think it's too cheesy to be the best boxing movie, but then I am trying to think of a better one. If you include kickboxing, I'd probably take some of the Van Damme stuff.

Diggstown is more comedy/drama rather than good fighting action.

dude, it's 2012.... Diggstown is irrelevant. If it was called "Redditburg" now we're talking!

I ain't seen Big Lou since him and Jay Gedrick took advantage of the mid-80's the 'Top Gun' hysteria, either.

Gedrick is back as a weasel in Dexter. He plays a strung out shady strip club manager. He plays it
quite well actually. I haven't seen Iron Eagles in a long time but it is pretty good. Poor man's Red Dawn
in the air with multimillionaire aircraft.
