No Hatchet, your mom sounds very similar to my mom. She annoys the heck out of me, and usually every conversation ends with me being pissed or depressed.....but I worry about her quite a bit because she stays around 79th and Cottage Grove, which can be very violent at times. I have to realize and accept who she is. It's a work in progress, I always say....I may talk to her once every other month...I know, bad.

I may talk or text with my pops once a week. We're cool.

The holidays are coming up. I may feel very differently about the whole thing in about 45 days...especially the in laws

I talk to my Mom about 2 times a day and my Dad at least once a week.
I also try to call my Grandma who is 88 years old 2 times a week as she lives by herself and doesn't get out of her apartment much. She is mentally ok, not great but ok. Even though she lives in a assisted living place and has her own apartment she really doesn't get down to do a lot, plus it is nice to have a adult conversation.
