YAWN! That could have possibly been the most boring episode of the entire series I had ever seen.
I don't see how they can continue with a 2 person tribe. My guess is they split them up and put them
into a tribe or they merge them all together. It may be a bit early to merge everyone already. The right
person went home at least.

Well they split the two person tribe between the other two and worked out how most of us watching figured it would.
I was glad to see them fit in with their new tribes and continue to get rid of the weaker players. Still nothing at
all memorable about this season either strategy or player wise.

She was so dumb but maybe one of the hottest women ever on the show. I was saying she needed to stay over Russell and the wife finally snapped and said "Relax and your starting to creep me out".

I miss her more and more each episode.

yea she was pretty hot. Hottest ever on the show? Hmmm, not sure about that, but I think someone definitely needs to put that top 25 list together so we can judge.

Well I am still hanging in there with this program. They finally merged the tribes and this was one of the better
episodes this season as now we are going to start seeing some blindsides and actual strategy. I found it pretty
amazing that the one woman has been to every tribal council this season. That really has to grind you down.
I am finding that obsession that Jeff Kent has with the other dude to be creepy and really funny. He just HAS
to stay in the game longer than the guy he is trying to boot out. Pretty tough challenge at the end there. I
was calculating 25% of my weight and there is no way I would have lasted long having to hold up 58 lbs like
that.

This last episode was a great one. The tribal council was crazy and Jeff Kent at the end of the show had me cracking up. After last years suckfest I'm really happy with this season.

Yes, it was really, really good. Most of the shows have the first part setup an elimination strategy, then they do the immunity challenge. If the immunity challenge affected who they were going to vote for, then they come up with a new strategy. Then someone comes up with a "crazy idea" strategy to switch the way everyone votes. Everyone reacting to it says it is worth considering. They go to tribal, and have some Q&A where they allude to both strategies, then the vote happens, and they always follow the first plan.

This was totally different because you really didn't know what the hell was going on at the end -- there were too many theories kicked about, and the part where Probst asks if anyone else would like to expose their hidden idol was great. It was nice having an episode where you legitimately had maybe four players as possible eliminations. Without giving away what happened, I think Probst comment at the end of the voting was very accurate, and certain members probably could have voted differently to better their chances. That being said, it seems like it is really hard to communicate who you want to vote for at the council, which is why I would have secret signals or words or something like that planned out before hand if the people were smart enough to follow along.

Just saw this. Really good episode IMO. I've been waiting to see someone pull of Malcolm's idol bluff for a while. Lisa is also more of a gamer than one would have thought from the preceding episodes.

Skupin and Lisa's votes were probably correct in this situation. Lisa sees her former tribe as her best shot at the end, and Skupin should stick with her for the time being. If and when they do flip, an obvious pair from their presumably new alliance will have been broken up, though Denise would probably have been the ideal target here.

Penner's is a lot more questionable and I initially thought it was an inexcusably awful. Skupin has tweeted that Penner knew they didn't have the numbers and just wanted to hurt Abi, but I don't really like this logic at all. Skupin and Lisa are probably the most likely to flip before going to rocks, so simply assuming that a tie vote is a dealbreaker doesn't work. On the other hand, his vote does make sense on some level if he wants to simply get rid of Jeff, who had been driving the anti-returning player sentiment, and if he thinks that his position will be much better if and when the game flips at 9 rather than 10 (or if he clearly signals that he's a wildcard vote still up for grabs and now potentially under-the-radar, though I think it's harder for him to adopt this position since he was seemingly pushing for the flip the entire episode and had no problems working with Jeff). For his part he says he can't comment on it without spoiling stuff, so I'll be curious to see how he plays it next week.

The worst plays this week were Abi revealing her idol for absolutely no reason whatsoever after Malcolm di and Pete's decision to not only immediately confront Malcolm but to also buy into the idea that he didn't have the idol since he freaked out.

Very good episode. Moving forward this should become an interesting show. The cast is
pretty likeable and now we see their mean side coming out so should be great to see them
try to cut one another out of the tribe. Why Abi showed her idol I will never understand.
Shows how weak she is mentally.

Yep, that was idiotic. But, still not as dumb as Jeff Kent being so obsessed with getting Penner out that he turned his back on a clear cut chance last week to take majority control of the game alongside the red team, Skupin and the hot indian chick.

I am still a little taken aback by Kent's last words at the end of the show. What a prick
and a big pussy. I have never heard anyone so bitter about getting voted off. Way to toss
in there that you made over $60 million in your career and even though you wanted to win
the $1 million even though it would be a paltry $600K after Obama got his chunk. What a
complete asshole. I always thought that of him when he played baseball and actually took a
liking to him on the show but ended up showing his true colors at the end. It would take me
a long time to make $600K asshole.

I actually found Jeff's final words hilarious. Almost as good as the time Rudy said "If I was them, I'd stay clear of me. 'Cause I got a lot of friends."

Yeah I could see how one could find it humorous but the more I thought I about it I just wanted to punch
his face in.

OBAMA!

Jeff Kent is a redneck hick who listens to a lot of Hank Williams Jr.

I got a completely different vibe from his last words, thought they were great. The reason he stated how much money he made playing baseball and how he was in a WS was because he was trying to show how he didn't need the money at all, yet he was still completely devasted about getting voted out because he loves the game so much and wanted to win just for the love of the game. I thought they were the best last words in the history of the show.

And I should note that I too have always thought he was a jagbag.

Yeah that was my take too. He did a great job of conveying how pissed off he was without being a baby and whining about the other players.

I can see where you guys would see that. He was obviously upset about getting voted out. I think
he may be a vocal member of the jury going forward. I don't question his love for the game, as he
took it quite seriously, I think he just never saw it coming and that was what was frustrating him
more than anything. I just think the money comments kind of cheapened his experience, just turned
me off. I thought he had played a pretty good game up to that point and the fact that only one person
knew who he was worked in his advantage.

The money comment was just his way of making sure the audience knew that the reason he was so upset about losing had NOTHING to do with the prize and everything to do with his love of the game.

Too early for a flip in my opinion, and I'm especially surprised Skupin was the one who voted out Artis there and not an emotional Lisa (though I suspect they decided to split votes on this occasion). Malcolm and Denise just picked up all of the power thanks in large part to the still present returning player stigma. Also think going after Artis instead of Pete was a bad move; Abi is clearly only using the idol to save her own ass.

Abi is so stupid. Even if you don't like the people in your tribe, with the knowledge you need them you
don't call them out and act the bitch. Penner is playing people like puppets and is a much stronger
player than I remember. Another really good tribal council and I still wasn't sure which was it was
going to fall up to the end. Still can't believe Lisa is so stuck on being loyal to the tribe that made her
an outcast.

Lisa's play last night was smart....she hasn't betrayed her "tribe" but the other group had the numbers with Skupin flipping over. Abi or Pete is next.

I am actually glad I stuck this season out. Now that it is down to the final 5 we should see some
interesting things. Malcolm has to feel like he is in the driver seat with the therapist woman. I
could see her beating him head to head though. Lisa has no chance and Skupin will likely hit his
head and knock himself out during an immunity challenge. Penner had to go, he played a good game
but took the obvious strategy to take him out like a baby. Not sure why he was so surprised. He screwed
himself by not getting into an alliance.

It has been good the last few weeks. Lisa should have no chance, but watch her win it all. She is someone one of the big players will take to the end and will end up getting the votes because the jury does not like the better player.
