Phil,
I know enough about NBA basketball, that you turn it on in the final 5 minutes.

If the Bulls would have never got rid of Elton Brand, Brad Miller, and Ron Artest in their prime, I tells ya....

Phil, this is random but I sometimes wake up in cold sweats trying to understand why you hated the Kaner mult so much.

I won't rest until this chapter is closed in my life. You hold the answers.

So it's not possible each of those guys can average 9 pts and 6 assists PG?

That is correct. It is not possible for Nate to average 6 apg this year. Name your wager and I'll give you 10-1 odds.

I'll just end it with an honest question on my part? In regards to the regular season, what's the difference if DRose puts up 18 with 12 assists and plays crappy defense (which he has against the better PG's on occasion) or two "scrubs" combine for the same performance?

I realize you need your superstars in the playoffs but the regular season is a different deal.

  but I'm sure you remember that meatball argument during the bad Tyson/Eddy/Crawford years.

Sorry but I gotta go Bernsie for a second, because it's clear you are talking out of your ass

When did he play crappy defense against opposing PGs? Was it when he was shutting down Chris Paul and getting MVP chants from the LA crowd? When was it? What specific games and what specifically did he do poorly on defense? If you can't provide even a general answer than you should probably go back to whining about Theo.

John Calipari knows Rose's "D" isn't up to 'snuff but God forbid I mention it to a bunch of CSFMB Basketball "experts"

Listen I realize DRose is one of the fastest and most exciting guys playing, all I'm saying is the Bulls still might have a decent season with the 2 part-time PG's until the playoffs begin.

If this is what you were saying nobody would have had a problem with it. Go back and re-read what you actually said.

Kirk is a hybrid guard that can play PG. Nate is a 5'9" 2 guard. I agree they'll have a decent season till Rose gets back. I just don't think its close to accurate to suggest that the combo of PG's will replicate Rose's numbers or effect. He never even averaged close to 12 apg. And you'd have to factor in Watsons number so they would need to replace over 30 ppg or about that. Also you have to factor in the effect Rose has on getting others open looks and making people keep a guy in the lane. Little known fact: last year he led the league in the basketball version of hockey assists, a pass-to-assist. The whole team will have to work harder to score. And all I'm gonna say about the clutch breaking down comment is I agree with everyone else that it was stupid.

Nate is actually looking pretty good. He's definitely better than JL3 in that he doesn't dribble out the shot clock. I think as long as he plays D he will play solid minutes for Thibs.

The loss on Saturday falls completely on him.

All he did was stand around and dribble until there was about 5 seconds left on the shot clock. He then proceeded to fire up a horrible J, or drive wildly into the lane. The ball needs to move. Last night the Bulls did that, so hopefully it continues. If games are coming down to crucial possessions involving Nate Robinson, this team is completely fucked.

I said this before, but I think they should have really tried to re-sign C.J. Watson. He is better than either of the Bulls' current point GUARDS.

He had a team option this year for somewhere in the $3 million range, but the Bulls declined it for some reason. I think it was mainly for salary cap reasons.

I'd have to agree though, especially with the Derrick injury, he could have decent 1 year fill in for Rose, and then they could have cut him loose after this season.

Racist.

Kurt Hinrich is okay (I guess), but he's not a starting NBA point GUARD in 2012. He's just not. He can't really see the floor, and he is too streaky for a guy who's supposed to be able to knock down open outside shots. I guess what I'm saying is, he's not really good at any one particular thing.

I thought his "thing" was great defense or is he too old now?

He's still decent on D for the most part.

If the Bulls threw Teague in the PG mix (some 1st half minutes) would that help or hinder getting the most out of the other 2?

Thibs doesn't really play rookies, and the last I heard, Teague really isn't NBA-ready.

They need to figure something out. They are going to lose a lot of close games if Nate is going to play 6-8 minutes every fourth quarter.

He's actually not that bad. He seems to move the ball well and he can add some scoring. He's okay as long as he doesn't try to take terrible shots and think he's an all-star.

I love Nate's energy but he is basketball stupid. He's going to cost them a game. Definitely not the guy you want to have the ball in a tight playoff game.

Bad shots.

A lot of them. With like 18 on the shot clock.
