Well, one time I was coming out of Lounge Ax - I had spent the evening doing shots of Draino with Screeching Weasel. Funny thing was, I woke up the next morning and my toilet was spotless. Anyway, my partner knew the bartender so she let us stay after they closed up and we all ordered burritos from this great place on the corner. The guy that delivered the burritos was a kid I went to grammar school with named Richard. Fun kid. We used to play stick ball until all hours. Some of you probably know Richard better as Rick Bayless. Anyway, after they finally kicked us out, we hailed a cab. The cabbie was chugging coffee the whole time. I was definitely in better shape to drive at that point than he was. Do you know how much caffeine makes your heart race?

I didn't touch a thing until college. I was an athlete in HS. At eighteen, without touching a thing but caffeine, weed was far more frightening. However, if my dad had me running to the kitchen to get him a one-hitter instead of beer as a youth, maybe it would be different.

I've done LSD and shrooms a couple dozen times each. Tried coke a few times and never really liked it. That's about the extent of it.
